When I first heard this performance by Alessia Cara I was in a psychiatric facility because my brother passed away from cancer and I was distraught over his death. As I was sitting in the common area with the television on this live performance. It felt as if she ways singing solely for me. I was a fan of Alessia for years but this cover makes me want to cry tears of joy over how comforting Alessia’s voice is. I know she does love her fans and I have love for her and her music. If we were to ever cross paths I would express the gratitude I have for her for being a talented artist that makes music that speaks to me and makes my anxieties go away. I love you Alessia ❤
