- HONG KONG, January 25, 2017 - Carnatic vocalist and composer Bombay Jayashri Ramnath gives an exclusive performance at Asia Society Hong Kong Center to coincide with the upcoming Chinese New Year festivities. This performance included Dr. Ramnath’s son and student Amrit Ramnath on supporting vocals and the tanbur, Mysore Srikanth on the violin, Manoj Siva on the Mridangam, and percussion artist B. S. Purushotham. (1 hr., 44 min.)

I am amazed that jayasree is always perfect in her pronunciation but in this song she sings "Krisna" instead of KRISHNA, which is jarring. She might be a good singer but killing the Kriti lowers her standard. Hope she rectifies in future?

That doesn't matter and it hardly matters for Chinese also as it is such a minor matter.
I think she is pronouncing right but sometimes when you listen through a microphone it distorts the sh and Tamizh la, zha sounds. Most musicians have to put in extra effort to emphasize some of their diction so that it is carried correctly by the microphone
The music must reach the divine. Why bother swamy with such human judgements.
