Wolves fan here and it's great to see a loyal footballer in 2022 and this was emotional even for me! Noble is a legend of the game what a great send off and an inspiration for the younger generation coming through that football isn't always about a fat wage packet 👍

As a father watching this, what got to me was seeing the tears from Mark’s daughter, how proud she must have been of her dad, but also sad that it’s coming to an end.

Loyal, passionate, skillful and a true leader. We will almost certainly never have anyonbe quite like it again, unless unlikely prayers are answered and Rice remains with us until the end and pigs fly.
He captained England U21 and really should have been England senior captain, especially from 2014 to 2016, but I understand why many outsiders and even some Hammers don't understand or agree. The only thing that held him back was his lack of pace, but I don't think that would have mattered, like it didn't for Deschamps for France. He hardly ever loses the ball and had enough pace around him in that team. If he had been England captain in 2016, after captaining West Ham in the last season at Upton Park, (a HUGE respeonsibility), there is no way he would have allowed England to be such damp squibs, drawing with Wales and going out to Iceland. No fucking way. We didn't have a real captain that can pick a team up by the scruff of its neck, and haven't had one since.

We still have one match left with Nobes, so I’m trying to enjoy the week the best I can.
The unity and appreciation shown by all of his teammates showed how important Noble’s influence was in on leading the team into the unified team we now have. He no doubt helped us thought the transition from Upton Park to Stratford, and influential on helping Moyes understand the mentality of a West Ham supporter, Moyes may have been the brains, of the operation, but Nobes was the heart. I simply don’t see Rice leaving this season, nor Bowen. It would be deceiving, but I think Rice is going to give us at least another season, and Bowen seems to recognize the break that West Ham gave him, and will stay as well.
