Cracking player. Always had my respect. Deserved to play for England, especially in 2010/2012 era. Could’ve played for Ireland too but he didn’t because he felt he’d be stealing the spot of an actual Irishman. Top bloke👊

What makes him a legend is that he stayed with west ham through relegation any other player would of seen money signs and left noble in his day could of got in most Premier league sides

Idk if this is my West Ham bias but if you asked me to choose between mark nobles career and Lionel messi I actually think I’d go for noble. Not as spectacular or trophie-ful but living the true boyhood dream devouring yourself to your club
I feel like the more apt comparison for what you’re trying to say would be Ronaldo vs Noble. Since Messi only left Barca last year due to their financial issues rather than choosing to leave clubs and bounce around.
