  • ProNoobRC, back in the studio! In this video we are working on a build we have been wanting to do for a couple years now. It's a combination of a Vanquish VS4-10 and a TRAXXAS TRX-4! We are also including the VFD trans and a Hurts Dig unit!
    Thanks for stopping by, and stay tuned for more awesome builds!

    Nice build lads... I have been led to believe the front axle didn't have enough offset for driveshaft to get past VFD transmission at front. Apart from that one custom link it was all pretty straight forward...CG on this set up would be greatly improved with VFD.
    I'm in the process of grafting Capra running gear into Trx4 chassis just for something to do. Enjoy custom builds, so really enjoyed this video. Well done.
    Cheers 👍

    Ordered the Vanquish phoenix portal kit to do this exact swap. Glad I came across this video for sure. Going to use the Vanquish axles on my current trx4, so both will stay running lol

      @@ProNoobRC I seen another comment mentioning that gearing was an issue? Is there a good solution to that? Maybe portal delete, as that would definitely gear it up a good bit

    • @ProNoobRC
      @ProNoobRC  Před rokem +1

      Vanquish makes machines gears for trans. The factory ones are sintered metal junk. It’s like the particleboard of the steel industry.

      @@ProNoobRC Ordered those with the bearing plates, aluminum trans stand offs, and full light kit too. Ordering a Holmes svh800 servo for steering, and still deciding on the remote to use for it. Was wanting to use a fusion pro 2n1 2300kv, but that's limited to 3s, and not sure if I should get something that can handle 4s or not?

    Nice build!! As budget build would this cost less than ultra? Also you can use 3 gear transmission with chassis kit should have both mounting plates. If you get one out of axial be cheaper than VFD.

    • @ProNoobRC
      @ProNoobRC  Před 4 lety

      Yes the chassis comes with 3 gear skid plate. The VFD upgrades it to the low COG skid

    • @ProNoobRC
