He needs to come back and make sure that this is the last dance between him, Lewis and Fernando for the final time before they all eventually retire.
If all 3 retired at the same time it would be incredibly poetic
@@NotApplicableF1 absolutely without a doubt plus that would actually be the perfect ending.
Gotta love how they would’ve all swapped teams
@@HumanEatingDuck imagine u go back to 2016 and tell someone this 💀
Man, Seb didn’t exactly leave F1 on top. I dread what will happen if he comes back 😮
True, but he also didn’t leave right at the bottom either
It’s going to be a riccardo repeat
Like Ricciardo, Seb’s driving style was very specifically good with just the RedBull. He did not adapt well to the GFX cars especially.
Love to seem him in WEC but a return to F1 would be disastrous.
That’s actually something I didn’t consider, maybe he left in 2022 because he didn’t enjoy driving the new regulations car
@@NotApplicableF1 I mean Seb did say he did not enjoy new regulations since F1 changed from V8 to turbo V6 and because the cars become heavier but his low point is not a lowest performance F1 have ever seen . The critics really grade him low and underappreciated his performance because of his 4x WDC status and also some of them basically dislike him since his RBR days.
Even at the end of his F1 career, his feedbacks able to help Aston rise up the ranks, he basically developed Alonso car last year and this year since Aston went back to last year car concept.
@@sjaadbj5564he even got AM first podium
My thoughts are Mercedes are in a downward spiral. They need an experienced set of hands that’s not crash happy or rookie to help them get back on track. Sebastian will be the perfect driver to do that for a few years while they test out the rookie potentially at Williams. Plus, I don’t think it would really displace George too much to have Sebastian there and I think George and Sebastian could work very well together at Mercedes rebuilding that team from the dumpster fire it has become. That being said, if I were Mercedes, I would try and keep the up-and-coming rookie in F2 for 2025 bring them in for 2026 by trying to get them at Williams for 2026 so they’re coming in with the new regulations and it’s going to be less adaptation needed on a rookie. Based on what’s going on with Mercedes, they’re best option would be Sebastian due to his experience knowledge and let’s face it. It would really be entertaining to see a Red Bull champion of the past driving for Mercedes considering that rivalry.
Yep, I really like your thought process. Vettel and George does seem like a nice combo for the time being which has enough about it to do well in the constructors whilst also giving Kimi enough time to improve if he needs it
Bro forgetting the sBinalla years at Ferrari
@@Hamisxa no those days were definitely not great for Sebastian but the reality is he does have the experience and would be a good driver to help Mercedes to rebuild. Gotta look at the entire career rather than just bad spells otherwise everyone’s a terrible terrible driver, if you only look at their worst seasons.
As soon as it was announced that Lewis was moving to Ferrari next year, my first pick to replace him was (and still is) Seb. I too believe he would be the perfect choice for Mercedes to buy some time for Kimi, as I don’t think it wise to move him up to F1 before the 2026 regulations. And I also don’t think Seb would mind about only having a one-year contract, whereas other drivers like Carlos and Fernando would.
Couldn’t agree with you more! If Kimi needs that extra bit of time he works as a nice stop gap that would get the car home in one piece, do alright enough in the standings and have a lot of commercial backing too
Mate i am a mercedes fan and i have heard more rumors of who is going to race in mercedes than fred has hair in his head i have listened of seb, antnoeli, alonso, sainz, max, etc. at this point if i even hear toto, newey, horner, sargent,Michael Schumacher i won't be suprised 💀💀
Seb could definitely help Mercedes develop the car. As long as there was no expectation of wins, he could help them out massively while Kimi Antonelli develops elsewhere (in Sargeant’s seat, say). What little F2 I’ve seen so far, it doesn’t look like Antonelli is quite ready to step up yet.
This actually makes a lot of sense.
It's the same as Micheal Schumacher's story. He decided to come back from retirement just to help Mercedes's growth. If Seb could do the same, that would be legendary. 3 world champions drove for the Mercedes, alone.
Schumi, Nico, Lewis, Seb. That’s 4, right ?
Toto told him 'Seb, can you maybe race our car until we bring Kimi in next year?"
He just did not specify WHICH Kimi 😂😂😂
We miss you Kimi Mattias 😢
they also have to be carefull because if they cant create a competative car for 2025 they could also lose russell as he is too promising to be stuck in a bad car. wich would put merc in a real pickle
Where would Russell go though? I can’t see him moving anywhere that has the potential of a Mercedes unless he moves to maybe Aston?
@NotApplicableF1 With everything going on I can see him in a red bull for 2026
Vettel is a perfect replacement for Hamilton. He is one of the most greatest F1 drivers all time
O think Seb will sulit with Mercedes. Why? Because he could help the team right away, I mean like from next month. Similiar as Fernando at Renaulr, he could help the team by providing feedbacks from the sinulator, given Lewis's feedback will be considered bisa given he will be moving to Maranello.
Seb also has teamworl personality that will help George to become future Mercedes Ace driver in the future.
as a driver, I could see that Seb as providing good feedback to Aston Martin as well as Ferarri durung his good day. This point it will help George as well. Both George and Lewis arr kind of drivers who worls well with the mechanics in the garage.
I would love to see him in the grid
I would hate to see him. He is old and washed. Wasn’t good already and sport should be about racing. Not his hypocritical political BS
@@robb5270😂😂😂😂🤡😂😂😂😂
Yes seb back in an f1 car hope they can make this happen
What about carloz
I like Carlos more at Red Bull
@@NotApplicableF1I don't think they will fire perez if he delivers like he did in japan.
Nice to see Vettles hair replacement worked & now has had it cut & doesn’t look like a tree hugger.
I can’t see him coming back to F1 more like he’ll drive Hypercars at Le Mans ..
All this stuff surrounding the Mercedes seat for me is just tongue in cheek..
Vetell is promoting an energy drink. Anyone who thinks he's got more plans then that has lost the plot
I believe sainz is going to Mercedes & that news was released just today.
Reportedly Wolff has since rejected the idea...
It would be cool but it was just a marketing stunt for his energy drink
I think this is more nostalgia than reality. Seb was a bad-a$$ driver. Then he became the nicest guy on the paddock. In one mode he won more races than I had hot dinners. In the other he was the nicest guy on the paddock. It's time for some new talent - or clone Alonso and Hamilton 10x and have at er.
I actually think that Sainz will take the seat of Hamilton in the 2025 grid
I LOVE UUUUUUU BEST CZcamsR. BTW FIRST CAN I HAVE PIN
Thanks so much 😄
A complete comedy show. Schumi was fined for not climbing the podium correctly. And Schumi would have won the wdc that year even if he had come second. So unnecessary
He failed and choked at ferrari. Why would he come back to a team that's been in decline for 3 years now?
professional yapper
Bro wants a CZcamsr to stare at the camera for 11 minutes
😂 I don’t wanna see the 10th video about some fucken twitter rumour
I'm German and sorry but Seb has no fire anymore to performe in this level and he don't want to destroy the Earth 😅
Yeah i think Alonso is the perfect driver for them
I like the Alonso shout but what if he wants assurances he will be in the seat for more than just 2025? Then Merc have to find a seat for Kimi elsewhere
Time for new exciting drivers not old number 2 or has been drivers with no potential for a long career, except at the back of the pack, how many years do we have to watch Riccardo been beaten by a younger driver and constantly making excuses for him.
Definitely, F1 is crying out for a bunch of new drivers. The only reason I would have Vettel is so when Kimi comes in he has the best chance of sticking around
No he doesn’t he’s not good enough anymore
Once you bee keep, you never come back.
Thou a bee helmet would be something.
A bee helmet would be an amazing special addition
Why can’t we just get new drivers? Why do we need to keep recycling in old ones?
I’m hoping Vettel can be used so that when Kimi comes in he sticks around. We have had a lot of rookies come in and thrown out in recent years
@@NotApplicableF1 yeah but that’s because they’ve all been drivers that weren’t f1 material. They come and go. The good ones stay. We have Lawson sitting on the side while we give washed up riccardo another try. It’s a waste of time. We know vettel isn’t going win championships and he’s not the future for the team. We can like the guy sure, but he offers nothing new.
@@TellURide447😂😂😂
NO Vettel. Give rookies a shot.
Did you watch the video... My point is to get the best from a rookie...
@@NotApplicableF1 I’m not saying this as a reaction to your video. I’m putting it forward as a general statement: one former driver back on the grid means one less seat for a rookie.
@@Olifantenstaartthat makes no sense lol. Watch the video first and then comment
We can get rid of Sargent
@@trashgamer3318 plus Ricciardo, Bottas, Stroll and Zhou. Plenty of seats for rookies to fill. Make F1 Great Again 🏎️
Vettel is old and washed; we need young blood. On top of that we don’t need his hypocritical political BS in the sport
I agree with getting in young talent, that’s why he would only ever be a very temporary option before Kimi comes in
@@NotApplicableF1 I know you can’t say it. But I want a sport where is about the sport! Not Lewis Hamilton preaching about abortion in USA when he comes here. Meanwhile high ranking politicians are talking about having a baby born, then after making it comfortable. Then deciding if you want to kill it!
Also don’t need Lewis preaching about LGBTQ rights and how Florida is evil because they made a 2 page bill for ALL teachers not to talk about all types of sex to 5-10 year olds (which is already illegal) and not to show them pornographic images (which again is illegal). All he does is parrot a political lie that is evil
