Horizon Simulations are set to release their LATEST Boeing 787 expansion, the -9 variant for #microsoftflightsimulator in a couple weeks. This video takes an EXCLUSIVE, early access look at the aircraft in a full flight from Dubrovnik, Croatia [LDDU] to London Gatwick, England [EGKK]!

Hey guys, this video took a lot of time and effort to produce, please consider subscribing for more such content! A massive thank you to Horizon Simulations for letting me have an early copy :) A couple notes regarding the add-on itself. Open it up!🔻🔻
1) It's an early access showcase - expect the final version releasing to the public in a few weeks to be different and more refined/polished (especially the oversensitive landing pitch - apologies about that one 👁👁)
2) The aircraft mod only works on PC and still requires the Premium Deluxe version of MSFS to work
3) The aircraft will come with liveries like the one shown above
4) The mod from Horizon Simulations itself is free if you have the Premium Deluxe version of the plane. It's a FREEWARE 'mod', but getting access to the 787-10 through the Premium Deluxe version is a must.

The sound from the Trent 1000 is total crap unfortunatly....cant speak for the GEnx, dont know how it sounds but the real ingame sound is far away from good

For the reverse thrust you can still control the throttles even in replay (I assume you’re using sky dolly). I say that because it seems sky dolly records the rev thrust being used but doesn’t record the Animation. But you can manually do it which is what I do.

Are they callouts included or edited in afterwards? Also how's rudder authority for crosswind landing? The slats for basically all Asobo jets looked awful so I'd love to see a custom model in the future, and hopefully, that oversensitive pitch get fixed by release! Great job gentlemen!

Did you use the Polystorm3D enhanced cockpit textures?
Finally 👏 I cant wait for final version. If I have a 737 usb MCP and throttle quadrant, can I make it works with 787 via SpadNext ?
Finally a somewhat realistic 787 for msfs, and the exterior textures are just...I can't even put it in words.
Btw, how realistic is it from the avionics perspective (how many buttons work etc.)?
Anything required for normal operations will work. There are still some stuff that's missing from it, that we're planning on adding in the future like the remaining pages on the Systems Display, or the radio pages that are currently INOP (there are INOP on the default 787-10 also, but we'll put in some more work into improving the product and making sure that we can deliver a truly amazing experience for all members of the community :)

You're more than welcome to go ahead write the code for one, and then contribute it to WorkingTitle, alongside any other developers that are working on any iteration of a Boeing aircract. The amount of man hours and the amount of data that would be needed to make a completely working VSD is something that is beyond a freeware team's availability, and the expectation at this point towards freeware is almost as high as it would be for payware. So it might be worth re-evaluating the expectations rather than complaining about a feature that's not there.@@formula1forever350

Why are there apparently so many rivet lines? Isn't the fuselage composite layered and attached in sections? I like the speed tape, though....that's a funny touch!

I tested yesterday the A319 with horizon addon, has a bug that you cannot expedite your descent, you cannot use vertical Speed either, gets stuck

I still have a 3070 and a ryzen 5 5600x. Is it worth upgrading to 4090 specifically for this game to enjoy with all addons? Maybe processor also is in need of changing?

Wings could use more micro stutters/micro flexing when on the runway (as pmdg does), but otherwise great job.
The pmdg wing flex is puke worthy
It says full EFB Support but only is the Page for Doors and TO Performance? Will some more options be added before release?
Currently that's what the WorkingTitle EFB is capable of. The Doors page is something that we have added, while the T/O Performance page is available by default, but getting it right to match the 787-9 numbers is a whole another story

Isn't this the Dev team Asobo brought on to fix the 787 and the new group during a press conference said that current 787 isn't up to their standards..Asobo looked a lil shocked to hear that.
No it isn't. We're the same team that brought you the enhancements to the B787-8 by Kuro, and the FlyByWire Compatibility mods for the LatinVFR Airbus series. :)

This is very heavy oscillation during landing, if due to oversensitive pitch of the aircraft then should be fixed before release.

Why was the plane oscillating so much on the final approach? Very worried about it, other than that it’s amazing

That is a known issue that we have warned all of our content creators about, and it is something that we're working on fixing until Public Release :)

Great video until the end where I got to see the approach and landing as a passenger. 😢
It was a little unfortunate mate, but since this was a pre release copy, the pitch controls on landing were very sensitive- nothing I could have done there. Hopefully it didn’t ruin your overall enjoyment of the video :)

Where is the PBS commentary? How is this different from the Kuro 787 mod? Still no cabin views? More overhyped BS.
How do you "overhype" something that is free? Kuro contributed to this (-900), and it features the latest AAU additions. The Kuro -800 doesn't (yet).
