I received a letter from a collector saying Walmart claimed I had stolen some earbuds and I need to pay a settlement. I had no clue what they were talking about, thought it was a scam. I found the store and eventually founded the manager, whom I've never seen in my life. She looked me in my face and lied to me, saying she caught me stealing. I went to the police station, they said they didn't have any records of the incident. I later end up testifying against her in another case she was involved in, after I saw it on the news. She was claiming they had stolen something also.

I have met someone like Williams many years ago in my own youth. They did as little as possible whilst on shift but made bogus complaints about customers simply to make it look like they had been vigilant and on their toes the whole time. They were required to fill in a register on the hour every hour of anything that happened of note within the store but when you read the register back, in comparison to all the other shifts that were quiet and un-eventful, this guys seemed to have dramatic things going on all the time. It was after watching the CCTV footage of those so called incidents that management realised that it was all fantasy. Needless to say, the guy never made it to his third week.

Walmart seems to be in the news quite often these days for hiring managers and other employees, who don't seem to mind targeting customers who have done nothing wrong. I personally find that Walmart stores have gone to seed in many other ways as well. I actually went to one of their super stores a couple of months back and all the checkouts were closed because, "Nobody showed up for work." I'm glad this man sued Walmart!

I was actually pretty shocked to see how many times these lawsuits are never actually paid out. They spend the next 10 years in court, and even if there’s a settlement, most of it goes to the lawyers and what you get is reduced to almost nothing and stretched out over 60 years. if you get anything at all
