I totally agree! I did discover it works well with bags if you run out of the cartridges; but who wants to spend $900 for a bucket!!! I just really hate having to dump urine.

@@vickiesweitzer8625 I want a van so I can travel and be a part timer too. I’m now71, became disabled in 2011, I currently looking for a single wide manufactured home and then I can get a van. It won’t be near as nice as yours.! Safe travels.

I'm thinking if you're going to have a van, be it for living in traveling with, this is what I'd start off with. Power off the alternator and after three days still has 60% left! Great! Maybe keep the cassette ( use chemicals to tamp down and breakup waste). Still got to throw away foil thingy.
Great bed, great garage, great low power consumption fridge. Yup. I'd do the same. Cabinet doesn't do anything for me though.

You can get cheaper ones at Harbor Freight. I was in a hurry and I could get this one faster. Also, I have no carpentry skills so this worked for me. Thrift stores would be another option to find something workable as well.

How do you like your induction burners? Is it more like gas or electric? Do you have good control over the heat? Thanks for the tour, Vickie and Lindy and Marley!😁
I use the induction burner very little. It cooks super fast and I have trouble controlling the temperature. It doesn’t help that it was given to me without a direction manual and I’ve been unable to obtain one online. I use my butane stove (single burner) more often.

i'm not too interested in hearing from part timers who ride around in vans that cost $50K or more. I want to hear from people who live in vans because they don't have any other options (like me).
There will always be people with more expensive vans and less expensive vans than whatever you have
