    so happy i finally found a video that covers the pencil tool to its upmost capacity i have been trying to understand why it wasnt working out well for me but this helps me out sao much thanks.

    The pencil tool in affinity designer is what I thought inkscape could do. Draw the line with stroke, and fill off, where you could change the stroke from the menu afterwards.

    Dear sir, how can we change the default pencil tool setting for tablet use? I changed it by mistake but now the free hand tool stroke is invisible .

      Do you have the "Use pressure input" button turned on (it has an icon that looks like a paintbrush)? If so, turning that off should make the pencil tool go back to drawing normal. If you want to keep the pressure input button on for tablet use, just make sure the Max setting is higher than the Min setting.
