Used to work at a thrift store and a lady used to come every time on our 50% off houseware days .Especially when it was close to Mothers day and Valentines to buy all the vases. She would make floral arrangements with flowers she would buy wholesale and resold them.

Genuinely thank you. I came across some of your videos and it was a super timely reminder of going to the thrift shop (or Op shop as we say here in Aus) to get so many good of things I might need around the house!
As someone who claims to be anti consumption and touting ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’ I noticed I was slipping into just going to buy things because ‘I need them to become organised’ (I’m also an ADHD person always trying to get on top of things).
I decided to go to my local op shop just to look around the other day. I didn’t need anything, but wanted to remind myself of what I can get there! And this video reminded me to do that!
I’m still working on reduce a lot more (as in reduce consumption), but this reminded me when I do need something, sometimes it’s best to just go to the Op Shop! Thank you! 😊

Thrifting is addictive! I love it, most of my clothes are thrifted and most of my shoes too, when I can find them new. Some stuff even has tags on it still! Those flower containers are so cute, and I love the bar cart. I'm still waiting to come across a cart, I want to use it as makeup and beauty storage.

This is what I love in India: I never throw away anything. I have a lot of people who are super grateful for whatever I don't need anymore. Even broken TVs etc, they fix everything and use here.

Here in New Orleans our local Goodwill overprices their items so ridiculously that many times it's higher than the original tag on an item... and it's used too! Unbelievable.

My community is less to do than others, so anytime I am spring cleaning I sell for really cheap or I post free or place on the curb free. It's great to give back to the community and to those who can use the items or even they can try sell to make a profit for a local person. It helps to lift up the community.

I love the thrift store I don’t think people realize that a lot of the stuff there isn’t “trash” it’s just people donating things they don’t use anymore. I’ve donated so many gently used barely worn items before and will continue to shop there for my clothing items.

This is all fine and dandy if you can find them, or have the time to scope out them before the retirees find them. My area was an area most people flooded to during pandemic & we're still growing- I usually have to buy online because they don't always have what I'm looking for. I DO have a small checklist to keep me from overbuying, but sometimes it's not always possible. I do like doing this when I can find things!
