My mom is a shopaholic, and buys for me regularly. I live in a small apartment, and try to be environmentally conscious and as a Christian I don't believe in consumerism. But she doesn't stop. I give most of it away in care packages or regift it now. I have boxes of this stuff in my closet to re-gift. We've talked about it, but it has become her love language. For headphones - I did get new expensive headphones recently. Wired ones break after a couple of months for me and my last wireless ones were falling apart after 4 years. That said - I don't use apple headphones because they suck ass and you can get way better quality ones for way cheaper. Sennheiser holds my heart when it comes to headphones. As for luggage - I buy ones in odd colors so I can pick them out in a pile like baggage claim if I need to.

I disagree Here in Germany many people just dont Care. I live in a big City with good Public Transportation I was one of the view who used them in my Office because we got paid so much we could have a car so it was expected. My coworkers talked about them traveling by plane multiple Times per year and expected that to be normal. At the Same time they we're admonishing my colleague who planned to visit greek with her old greek Parents. 💔 Yeah greek is getting dangerously hot because of climate Change and you Just continue to travel. I cant anymore people are assholes and the old the sick and the ones who cant flee die already all over the world for it because it gets too hot.

Have you thought about looking into vegan food for your dog? 🌱 The biggest contributor to climate change is animal agriculture so you can make a stand against this and consume more sustainably by consciously buying vegan food Of course it also means that it spares the lives of cows chickens etc. The British Veterinary Association supports that dogs can live a happy and healthy life on a vegan diet 😄

You’ve really got to watch the vintage glassware. It’s very common for it to contain lead. The pretty colored stuff also often contains other heavy metals. I love shopping second hand, but I will never buy glassware used.

Ooh! Something I thought about when I saw them, those denim overalls jumpsuit things, is, those are so cheaply made. For the same amount of money, someone could buy an actual uniform denim suit (even name brand like Carhartt or something) and get 10x the amount of life and wear out of it, PLUS if it's cotton it'll last forever!! Unlike cheaply made fast fashion plastics like nylon
