Candied Jalapenos

Candied Jalapenos
3 pounds fresh firm jalapeno peppers, washed
2 Cups apple cider vinegar
6 cups granulated sugar
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
I really like this recipe. one of my favorites my friends and family like it also. hope you enjoy.

Can you clear up for me please, that was more than 2 cups of vinegar you put in, and is it a teaspoon of Cayenne or a Tablespoon ? The recipe and what you say were conflicting. Thanks

Good catch I did not realize I did that. It’s supposed to be 1 teaspoon and I did 1 Tablespoon of Cayenne. And yes 2 cups vinegar. That was a two cup measuring cup. 👍
