I finally managed to conquer the Munro Creise on my third attempt. After a winter of feeling low, mentally, I set out again to get this one in the bag.
While it is probably not the most exciting journey, the effort I have had to dig and find has been quite the personal challenge. I have not yet decided on my next Munro but I can say I'm glad that this one is out of the way and I'll always remember Creise.

Hey John, this one certainly had its piece of me.
I just speak my mind on the vlogs and if the day goes a certain way then that's the way it goes, there's no point in making out it was better or worse than it was. Thanks for your comment and I'm glad you liked this one.

Hey Euan, it was certainly becoming that and I know I'll always look at it with a certain feeling of "why did that one take so much?"
I'm definitely enjoying them again and with what limited time I have for the next few months I'll be looking to get out a lot more.
Thanks for watching and here's to the next one.

I met them on the summit of their first munro and they had finished of their piece to camera. I was finishing off my day and spent around 15 mins chatting to them before they had to get a march on as the sky looked a bit changeable.

Hey Alastair, I wish I could say they had been a cracking day for me but they ended up being a three day set. I guess that's how it goes sometimes with these.
I've yet to bump into any other CZcamsrs out there but I'm sure it'll happen. The HH seem like decent guys. Didn't they get you a wee cameo in the vlog?

Here's hoping I do but I also see the irony that I said "I always set targets" trying to suggest I won't do that anymore and in the next breath I set myself 20 munros.
The enjoyment is what it's all about and here's hoping I get some good trips this busy year.
Thanks for watching and commenting as always.

I think I could be doing with being carted up some of these myself, it would have to be a strong bag but I'd take the lift 😂
That's good going for such wee legs. Sadly my wee walking buddy had an operation on his leg a few years back and his Munro days are gone. It just aggravates his leg too much, although I may have another wee buddy out on a trip soon đŸ€«

Hey Graham, it certainly is a relief that it's over, which is a shame because I don't want to resent any of the hills but this one was close.
Where is this peak you're trying to get... thunderstorms and fires?? Are you in Mordor?

Haha, not quite Mordor. Excelsior Mountain, in the Sierra Nevada, California. I've spent a lot of time hiking out there. It's not even a particularly noteworthy peak..... But since I've failed twice, I'm going to have to get it done sometime.
