About this channel: We are the Smith's. A family of 5, living in the country just outside of Georgetown, Texas. Granger, a touring country music singer, Amber, an actor and stay at home mom, and their children: London, Lincoln and River.
I absolutely teared up when you, Granger so naturally said “Thursday will be the last day you only have three kids, Friday you will have four.” To Amber.
Everyone always says my son is my only child and I have to correct them and say I have a daughter as well, the fact that she resides in heaven does not change that she is my daughter.

I know a lot of people doubted the wood ceilings, but they look great. Taking out the extra gray boards really makes them pop and the lighting makes a huge difference too. They are beautiful. Very lovely home. I totally like the no TV in living room idea and losing the useless bonus rooms.
Your house is just gorgeous! It is not to big and not to small. PERFECT in every way. I love that you have no TV in the living room. It will keep you all talking. That is very important in keeping your family together. Your family is so sweet! I said this somewhere else but if people don't realize how humble y'all are they are crazy. You don't have to live like Jason & Brittany Aldean to be happy. That isn't you guys. Y'all are very down to earth and not flashy. This house is what YOU GUYS wanted and it suits you. I love that there are ZERO extra rooms. I will refer to this when we remodel our house. Your house is perfect. It is not just a house,it is a home! We always lived below our means so we could have acreage and animals and travel, a showy house was never our goal even though my husband made an incredible salary and worked very hard. Our son’s live their lives with the same values.

Our house is a smaller house about this size and I love it for our family. We are always united and together. There is no space for clutter. I LOVE all the architectural designs and details. I look forward to putting more design into my home since I will be paying it off shortly.

Your home is beautiful I love it. I like the open concept especially with no TV that’s the best decision you’ll have more time to spend with the family. Sometimes having to big of a home you loose track of what everyone is doing. I grew up on a ranch and our focal point was centered around the windmill. When my parents moved they sold the windmill and a old manure spreader o a place that has a barn and a family business . They sell fruit, nuts, vegetables, pies and they have a corn maze, pond, and petting zoo. The windmill was their focal point when they built their business.
