No Joke, this was one of the *BEST* home tours I have ever seen. She's so lovely and loved how she designed the entire house. Her children are very blessed to be living in a home like that, I pray they turn out down to earth and grateful for what they have like mum.

I dont like this house because the Kitchen is Squeezed and Tiny- and it has No Island and not enough storage.Also there is no big outside Garage that can hold at least 3 cars and a place for storage. The garden is too small and there is no separate study room.The house is also on one floor and would prefer a 3 storey bungalow with Good views of the surrounding

Real Estate photographer here 🙋♂ So many luxury property owners these days make their properties look like an expensive mall rather a "cosy" place that feels like "home". Your property gives me that "this is home" kind of feeling which other properties lack! I love it!

This is a great tour. Initially feeling the AD vibes, but coming from an interior designer, you get so much more detail than someone just vaguely talking about each room. Would love to see more of these, maybe even a series where Sophie takes you through some of her previous projects! Awesome content.

Immaculate. I love this house and the way Sophie has decorated and fitted out the interior. This is a house that as soon as you enter you could fall in love with and it immediately feels like home.

She is a copy of Kate Middleton from the looks to the tone of voice to the deportment. But her sense of aesthetics coupled with practicality is amazing! This is a woman that knows exactly what she's doing. the first min of the video gave me the same feeling as when your hearing a great song for the first time and you just know you are going to love the rest of it.

Honestly, this may be the best designed home I've seen. The elements of each room are all so unique, yet they're all so elegant and retain a strong feeling of comfort. My hat's off to everyone involved in the crafting of this home.

@@goldenboyi1989I don’t know what you mean. The kitchen is open concept, and has an island right in front of the fridge? They probably didn’t show the garage, if there is one. The house is at least two stories, and there is a separate study, it’s labeled “Study” in the video.
@@Nicodegalloyo dont like open kitchens with no proper walls-makes the smell of fish spread everywhere. I need a house with an attic at least 3-4 stories hight plus a garage that can support 3 cars. This house is too tiny

What an amazing home! Beautiful taste, you can not only tell a family lives in there, but it’s their personality that makes it so appealing. Also, loved the way you did the “interview” during the tour, Tom! Really brought us viewers to the house.
That is one of thee nicest homes I have ever seen, and believe me, I have seen loads. The home is sophisticated, luxurious, classy and understated, just like Sophie. I am in awe of both.
Even though this is only attainable to the 0.1%, we are lucky to see and experience this and inspiration for ideas to implement in smaller spaces. Lovely presenter and personality and lovely home. 100% with you on the thick bead spreads.
Usually large Estate homes are cold but every room in this home gives me a sense of cozy and warmth. Love her style of decorating and the ‘art work’ is stunning.

I love how the mum said about her daughter "She's a lucky girl and she deserves it." Like she's highlighting, yes, her daughter is blessed yet that does not give anyone the rights to belittle her for what she was born with and I appreciate that. I’ve actually watched this video a few times that’s how much I love not just her design but her home as well. This is the best house tour I’ve ever seen it is absolutely gorgeous I would not change anything about it. She is my absolute favorite interior designer, her children are very blessed. ❤

I really enjoyed this home tour. Absolutely informative and insightful from a designer and home owner perspective. This is probably the only home I have seen of this proportion that still managed to feel homey and that I feel I wouldn’t change anything in. I also really loved how she played with colour throughout the house whether it was natural or artificial, it still did what she intended it to do. Very clever! Sophie is my favorite interior designer and I love how down to earth she is!
One can sense the house is filled with love. Been following Sophie and her husband’s office, her child’s room, they are all wonderfully made without compromising their personal preferences ❤

Wow. What a wonderful house. The owner really explain almost every inch of the house with details. She really is awesome interior designer.
Quick suggestion Sophie. The comment about having a full open glazed shower cubicle. In a house your size or any house for that matter. I would suggest installing a water softener. This will eliminate the water marks on the glass cubicle. Hope this helps.

Absolutely amazing. I thought it was going to be cold and have that cheap footballer/show home feel like you get with a lot of mcmansions out there but every room is gorgeous. You can really tell this is a loved family home.

So incredible, I dropped back in here again to share how much I loved this space. Heavily inspired by Sophie's work. HEAVILY. Just watched the Chelsea Townhouse tour and the wallpapers there reminded me of the wallpapers here in this home. I clearly love wallpapers too much. The bathroom and her closet is exactly how I imagine making mine. ❤ And her voice soo calming
The home and the interior design are beautiful and the colour pallete work really well together. A couple of points: the thumbnail image of the exterior you used on this video is for a property called Shandon and this is a different house. I don't recognise the house but it sounds like Sophie bought it off-plan during the build process so that may account for why I don't recognise it. The staircase is very reminiscent of a Royalton home and the layout also has a very Royalton feel, so if I had to guess and I could be wrong but I think Royalton probably built Sophie's home. Her son's bedroom is such a lovely space and it reminds me of the interior of one of the bedrooms in a property called Kings Chase on the Crown Estate in Oxshott and although I can't be sure, I think Sophie probably did the interior design for that home too. I loved looking around Sophie's house, the interior is gorgeous and its a real showcase for Sophie's talent. Thank you Tom for another great video and Sophie for allowing us to look around her beautiful home.
I was wondering if this was actually the exterior of her home unfortunately was not impressed! But the interior is absolutely exquisite and tastefully done!
@@jeanpe1040 The thumbnail of the exterior is a different property entirely but that house is stunning as well, it's just very different to the house featured in this video. This property shares a lot in common with two homes on the Crown Estate in Oxshott called Clifton House and Reverie House and both were built by luxury developer Royalton, which makes me think that Sophie's house might also be a Royalton property. Search CZcams for a Channel called 'Prime Residential' and then look for a video called 'Royalton Corporate Video (Clifton House)' and you will see what I mean.

I love Sophie Paterson's designs, I've decorated my whole flat using her interior designs and ideas. She has impeccable taste and taught me everything I know about using textures, lighting and layers to liven up neutral tones. A few weeks ago, she posted about trying to support Palestinians in need, and my respect and admiration for her just grew exponentially. She is honestly a true life inspiration (in my dream world where I became an interior designer instead of a medical director 😅)
