- Marge and Maxine were very unsure about their first meeting, but were then super excited to have a friend again! Marge was rescued when she became depressed after losing her old best friend and the sanctuary did their best to find her companionship, unfortunately the other animals there were not a good match. But when they heard of a lonely cow needing a friend, they jumped at the chance to unite them. And luckily, it worked out for the best!

I loved how Maxine was in the barn during the snow and Marge was outside. They're adorable and I'm glad they're happy now.
Yak was probably, "It is beautiful out, what are you doing inside?"
I liked that, too 💕
Yak's are used to high altitude and extreme temperatures
@@zkfnd859 I know. That's why I pointed out the difference.
I was going to type the same thing. 😄

I love Marge's happy dance! I see too many lonely animals. I'm so glad these people persisted because they knew how important it was for the animals' overall well-being to have a buddy.
Marge's happy dance is contagious, isn't it? We agree, companionship is essential for animals' well-being.🐾😊
Aww, what a beautiful story of a lonely
Yak and a lonely cow. Thank you for caring enough to fill up there hearts with a special friend.🐄❤️👍
Thank you for your kind words!
@@CuddleBuddiesChannelvery nice of you for taking such good care of all these animals 💕🤙🏻😘… Can they still have babies? Any daddy yaks around? Bull’s???
@@artmosley3337 Really? There is already too many unwanted animals around. Why make more? These are not ranchers. They are hobby farmers. Not the same. They called 2 acres a 'pasture'. They don't have room to be making babies. I think you missed the point of the video by a mile.
Please have a trio, it makes so
much easier to bare a loss
when there's anotheqt to share
the enormous grief✨🙏✨
They can do what they want.
Very true! ❤
My friend had one horse and thought it was lonely. *He knew that HERD animals liked and needed others to feel safe, happy and loved. So, he got a sheep. 🐑🐑They would hang out in the pasture, and both did become friends. 🐎🐎 I'm glad he helped his horse, and that sheep! This rescuer cared and did help them. TY
Your friend's gesture is heartwarming! It's so important to understand and meet the social needs of herd animals like horses and sheep. We're glad to hear they found friendship and happiness together. Thank you for sharing this touching story! 🐎🐑💕
Yak actually are a type of sheep, not a bovine. But sheep dont bother other species.
@@tpilot_error404WHAT?! Ty for telling me that
The Yak acting like a dog(bowing, initiating play) is the best thing I've seen in a long time❤.
*THERE MUST BE A SPECIAL PLACE IN HEAVEN FOR THOSE WHO HELP ANIMALS IN NEED.*
I lived my entire life thinking that cattle were so dumb we were doing them a favor by eating them. Now my heart aches at their intelligence and capacity for emotion.
It's amazing how our perspectives can change, isn't it? Cattle are indeed intelligent and emotional beings, and it's important to acknowledge and respect their sentience. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and empathy. 🐮💕
We still eat them. Actually we eat them more than ever in history.
@@majdavojnikovic Human beings have eaten animals from the very start.
Traditional indigenous cultures usually perceive all animals as sacred. BUT, they still ate/eat them (with sincere gratitude) unlike Indians who don’t eat cows bc of their sacredness but do eat a lot of dairy foods!
Personally I don’t think it’s the fact that we eat animals or their milk that is the problem at this point in history.
It’s the number of people and pets on the planet that eat meat and dairy.
It’s the way we raise animals to feed those people and pets.
It’s how they are killed.
If the cattle, dairy, and meat industries were required to provide a highly quality of life and health for the animals they raise,
if their deaths must involve kindness, gentleness, affection and a pain-free experience, then I’m sure there’d be less opposition to eating them ....
@@cacampbell3654 I agree on everything you said. In old Rome, one big pig would cost a year salary of a mason, highly skilled worker. We ate animals, but it was expensive. One had to hunt or take care of them, and there were all kind of sickness and predators too. One could die from bad meat. Most have to kill the animal themselves to eat it. It was expensive and risky to eat meat. Most population at beans for their proteins, and meat only on special occasions in most parts of the world in most times in history.
Now, we found a way, a horrific way to make meat cheap. Basically ongoing Holocaust.
So we eat more and more of it. And more and more cows and their offspring.
One billion Chinese started eating cows for the first time in history, that most expensive meat just recently, thank you McDonalds. Indians don't eat cows, but recently started slaughtering them for export. Like all others, they are not particularly religious. They are soon going to join. Two most populated countries in the world. Go count.
So, what I wrote is true. We are consumers of that "cheap" meat and there is several billions of us. Cows are "evolutionary most successful animals, as their number growth suppresses growht of humans, the second winner "
How nicely explained.
I am all for expensive meat. Expensive, dangerous and kill it yourself if you want to eat it.
OMG you have no idea how emotional they are. We have rescue cows and the main thing I wanted to do was adopt calf cow pairs (mother and baby) because I can't stand the idea of them being separated. Our first pair when we sent the baby to get banded (neutered) he was only gone about 45 minutes and his mom was freaking out. To get him back to her was everything. Currently we have a baby and I'm working on getting his mom too. 🤞🙏🐂♥️
Thank you so much for rescuing these two lovely ladies and giving them both life and family. God bless you and your family of critters.
🐮💕
It must be so rewarding to see them both happy and content. Glad they found each other. So sweet.
I liked it when it was snowing and they still stayed close together, one in barn and the other outside 😅
Lovely ladies that are loved by their human caretakers and now Marge and Maxine have each other as well.
I love how animals can look past appearance and just see someone that needs a friend. They have no prejudice. What lovely story.

Kudos to Jen et al for putting in the time and effort to help these 2 animals have a friend. We see more and more how much we have in common w even these types of animals.
No yak or cow is an island! So glad that both their human caregivers realized that and were able to bring the ladies together! 💕
A rainbow over a happy farm....doesn't get more ideal than that.

Thanks , I needed that! Good juju that will come back in spades!
HI Pirate: I know that term! Haven't used it in years, but understand it ! lol 😊😊😂😂✌🏼✌🏼
I’m so glad you and the original cow’s mom realize that animals have such similar emotions to us. When they lose their friends, they grieve. They feel lonely and have no idea how to be happy again. Thank you so much for completing the space in their hearts!
awww they are precious
Very sweet!
I love that the yak WHO IS VERY CAPABLE OF DEFENDING HERSELF was like "Moooom?!"

We're thrilled you enjoyed their story! Marge and Maxine are indeed precious souls, and we're grateful to be part of their journey. Thank you for your kind words and support! ❤️🐾
I always chuckle when large livestock animals are given people names, not sure why, but maybe because we just called our cow 43 (ear tag from the auction). She was a loving cow too, always happy to get some back scratches.
herd animals require at least one more with them to feel secure-they really feel defenseless without others- even if they are different species-I liked that yak dance- never saw that before.
They're both lovely and adorable.
Lovely unique friendship 🐄🐄, inspiring story🌟 and the rainbow was gorgeous 🌈
Thank you! Marge and Maxine's friendship is truly special🌈🐄✨

Love cows. They are always so sweet!
Oh my God, they’re both so adorable and sweet
Beautiful ❤
Beautiful 💞
This would be a great children's book
I know dairy cows (and they're herd animals, not loners) but don't know a think about yaks. the dancing was unexpected, cows are much bigger than many people think and not exactly light on their feet so I guess i thought yaks would be the same. thanks for sharing the story, learned something new as well
Yakity yak, don't talk back! 🐮
Thank you💖🐾🌱💚💚..
❤❤❤
Beautiful story
Beautiful ❤
Animals are pure.
I’ve never seen a yak! I love her beautiful giant puppy tail! ❤❤❤ gorgeous ladies
