We find gold miners, oxbow lakes, spider monkeys, and Amazonian birds such as macaws, parrots, herons, kingfishers, hoatzins, cardinals and grey-necked wood rails. We also stop in at “Los Amigos Biological Station” (CICRA) and “Huitoto Lake Lodge”. We explore rainforest canals and oxbow lakes and find spider monkeys doing aerial stunts!

Can I get a amazon link of all the stuff you use for the trip

I don't think this would work too well. I will be focusing more on gear in videos to come for packrafting, ultralight trekking and bikepacking.

Would independent packrafting be allowed in this region?

    • @IncanExpeditions

Yes, but some of the oxbow lakes such as Huitoto are maintained privately so be ready to ask permission if it seems necessary. The main river is unregulated. I would always suggest a guide if deviating away from the river.
