Oh hey, is one of my favourite characters in the series. So much so that in my 9th grade acting class I preformed her support with Rennac with I girl I liked. Let's just say the dancing bit was the best part.

me too, i feel like innes got very little development.
But... but... Mangs, L'arachel gets really good-- better than most units in my opinion-- if you staff spam her all the way to 20, feed her kills upon promotion, grind her to max level, and feed her every stat booster! She easily deserves a 5/5 star rating for utility, no debate. Shameful of you to give the peerless queen anything less.

I've been waiting for this spotlight and I love the analysis you did on her personality, especially her support with Ephraim :) Her support with Innes (as much as I kinda ship them together, I honestly don't know why) is iconic, I swear I sometimes use the "If I were not a holy woman I would beat you sensless" line irl and even without reference it still cracks people up. Also Rennac, one of my favourites characters in all the franchise *insert heart emoji*

The shoulder coverings are one of my favourite parts of her design in FEH. It's not just a covering, it's a pauldron, and as a pauldron it emphasizes the idea of her being a crusader, making her look more like a knight and more assertive (brave) in general

L'Arachel is wearing armour shoulder pads in the official art in FE8, they're just skin toned.
Yes this. It's really hard to tell because they made the color of the pads a dull white, which, pretty much looks like their skin-tone color for her as well. With the greater color pallet in FEH, they've distinguished between her skin tone and pauldrons better and made them larger to avoid confusion.

In her support with Ephraim she talks about her exposed shoulders. And in her portrait it’s clearer that it’s her shoulder. Maybe Heroes is just referring to the support conversation

Awesome video! It's been a while since I've played Sacred Stones and this makes me want to replay again. The "naked shoulder" thing was odd, but I think she was just so attracted to Ephraim that even the thought of seeing his shoulder made her nervous, worried she would lose her composure. However, she fails either way hilariously.

Also, when Conrad gets added into Heroes, I'm pairing either L'arachel or Gunnthra with him, since Conrad's va, Marc Diraison, voiced Guts in the original Berserk anime, and Carrie Keranen, who voices both L'arachel and Gunnthra, voiced Casca in the original Berserk anime as well.

larachels biggest use is probably if you can get her to C staves, having an extra restore user in ch 14 Ephraim route is extremely useful.
Larachels only use, is recruiting Rennac to get us those chests so we don't have to waste an ocean seal on colm who we all know is one of the worse units in teh entire game.

Man I remember back in the old days when i played Sacred Stones for the first time, L'Arachel was by far my best unit on the team, so good.
About time she shown up on your spotlights! While I dislike the dismiss of potential via grinding, it is fair to skip it so not everyone from SS is 5 stars. She is among my favorite staff users in the series, her luck passing 20 at promotion blew my mind at the time.

Before even aquiring La'Rachel as a teammate she was already my favorite female character. Sacred Stones usually has a more dark and grim outlook on how terrible the threat of apocalyptic war is than any other in the series, and a main character who brought some relief and joy, even though that facet of her character is not overplayed, was actually much appreciated. Quite frankly i found using moulder and natasha quite a liability considering the poor move and their growths never did much for me in any playthrough, so La'Rachel is instantly a prime candidate and healer due to the extra move and better growth rates and base stats. In fact she is the only unit who can heal at base that i bothered with. even all that without taking into account i adored her character. Too bad she wasnt female Lord, eh? Itd be an interesting change of pace... But anyway, i know you enjoy being the arbiter of unpopular opinions, so nothing im gonna say matters much... Just that i would use her even without tower of valni. But not without spam staff, of couse

10:02 , look at the left shoulder in that picture. There IS a pauldron underneath her cape that's barely poking out. One can assume she's wearing a pauldron on the other side as well with her raised arm, but the angle of the arm prevents seeing it. And assuming even if the pauldrons weren't there, the cape alone would've been enough to cover her shoulders going by this in game picture. Perhaps the only reason her shoulders are bare in the support convos is because she's not actively in battle? I could be wrong considering some support conversations suggest that's exactly where characters are talking, like Gerik and Tethys.

L'Arachel and Dozla's interactions legit crack me up, so that along with her being a Troubadour makes her an easy choice for my team. She def won't be as good as other units though.

When I first got Awakening (first Fe game), I didn't know who L'Rachel was. However, she was the only Spotpass to have the Bolt Axe, so I defeated her over and over again and started to despise her, because I found her annoying. Now, I fucking love her and want to +10 her in Heroes.

If you train L'Arachel by 20/20 she'll reach almost all of her stats caps, I think she's amazing because in this game you can train your characters as much as you want... but she's definetly boring to train
If you enjoy watching glowing stats, L'Arachel is entertaining for sure, but this doesn't make her a good unit, just an entertaining one.
