  • Learn how to make the easy caramel recipe ever ! In this video I’m using Dulce De Leche Caramel. This Caramel taste great and easy to make. Even though this caramel can be soft after dipping, but let the caramel set for about 10 minutes before dipping in chocolate. When dipping in nuts or crumble you’ll want to dip right after Your Apple has been dipped in the caramel.
    Below I have listed my recipe. Enjoy!

      Hey Melida! It should be around 140 F to 145 F but no higher and melted on a low setting to avoid any scorching. I use 3/4 Cup of heavy cream to 4 cans of the Dulce de Leche. If you're dipping them in chocolate over the caramel layer, "don't" refrigerate them before dipping in chocolate...let them set up first at room temp then dip in chocolate. It can cause elephant skin and don't look pretty. Refrigerate after you're done dipping and decorating. These apples have been a hit for years...so yummy!! Big ((Hugs)) from Texas!! 😉

    Hello Miss Ro I just want to ask how long does the caramel apples usually last? I see lots of videos but none on how long they will last

    • @YourSweetConnection
      @YourSweetConnection  Před rokem +2

      Hello 👋🏾 ! In optimal circumstances you should try and eat your caramel apples as soon as you can so that you can preserve the freshness of the apple. In times when you cannot do this, you can expect your caramel apples to last for about two weeks before they begin going bad.
      They should be stored in the refrigerator. This avoids any unwanted growths while also keeping them fresh and chilled for longer. If you're storing your caramel apples in the fridge then make sure you place them into the packaging of your choice or an airtight container or a ziplock bag. This helps to keep in even more freshness!
      Throw out your caramel apples that have been sitting in the fridge for more than 3 weeks. I hope this helps end I’ll do a video on this soon.

    • @YourSweetConnection
      @YourSweetConnection  Před rokem +2

      For this particular caramel is the soft caramel that needs to set for at least 15 to 30 minutes if you placed them in a cellophane bag depending on the care of them, it will soften up and smear along the back. I recommend for these to be put in an Apple box, but if you dip them properly and let them sit for at least 45 minutes then you can package them and they will be fine and then you can place them in the refrigerator before serving up to your customers or your event if you’re using a cellophane bag.

      So this is why I’m getting negative messages! I have never took either class! I don’t take classes, I have had my own online classes for years!!!! I have taught many people and because someone else comes out with a CZcams video doesn’t always mean they got it from someone else or another class. As long as I’ve been doing treats I have done my share of everything I’m a pastry chef and this caramel is also used for other things such as sauces and fillings and I have a group that I have had since 2015 and shared many caramel recipes in the group with over 3000 members this is not new to me at all and I have thousands of people that can vouch for that because someone else has a class about it I have nothing to do with it and had no clue of it. So C.R STAY OFF MY PLATFORM WITH YO MESS!!! FIND OUT WHO I AM BEFORE YOU COME FOR ME!!!!

      @@YourSweetConnection don't let them get to you. They just mad and feel like fools that they thought they had a "secret sauce" that they done paid almost $300 for and here it is, getting that same info for $free.99 🤣😂 Keep doing you, I've followed you for years and love, support and appreciate all your content! ❤

    Cant wait to try these! As far as storage how long will they last and what do you recommend on how to store them? Thank you for always being so transparent with teaching us! 🤍
