- Read this before you comment ... CHINESE DO NOT FAKE CHINESE JUNK ..IT IS NOT FAKE .. even they know not to copy crap. ..If you own one its your head don't justify your mistake , replace the helmet .This is sold as a "safety" helmet IT FELL APART , because its garbage . The trim came away and the inside fell out and the piece of junk FELL APART ..IT FELL APART . It cost me about 300usd and IT WAS NEW , from an LS2 Authorized dealer it is not fake . It was made on the 03/2014. I bought at an Authorized LS2 dealer. After a few rides and less than 5 hrs use , it Chinese quality showed up, others kept telling me how LS2 Helmets were great value, so I decided to see for myself . This is a video is # unedited # of my findings ... For the purpose of safety, it cannot meet any of the claimed standards I don't care about testing by safety bodies after 5 hrs it would not protect your head . I now own a new Shoei ( and have done the same test before with a Shoei after 4 years I could not break it ) and should have bought Shoei in the first place . I will post a video of a Thai helmet called "Real" used daily for 4 years, it has the same punishment and does not fail . In fact no helmet has ever failed like this LS2 Helmet. LS2 must sell a different product to you as that they send for testing, or maybe just lie about approval certification . Chinese quality & deception with pure lies to save money . They sell an inferior product to the public to protect your head , and this video is proof they don't care . Luckily my head didn't test it , or no one but my next of kin would have known how bad it really is . I hate this degrade of truth we have come to live with in recent years, but your head should not be so compromised for profit. LS2 continues by pure ignorance of what a safety helmet should be supported by the people that buy it . Its your head buy the hype or buy something else.

I’m just saying, but I’ve carried the same LS2 ff320 for 6 years, manufactured on 2014, thankfully never had a fall, but been hit pretty hard in the visor for road rocks that cars and trucks throw from its wheels, and there it is, the same visor with scratches and a helmet very signs of use, that’s all. I think you’d probably bought a counterfeit version of that helmet… but I’m just saying

9/10 it must’ve been a fake one. I doubt FIM would allow pilots to wear helmets like that. Imo the dude either involuntarily/voluntarily bought a counterfeit one, wither for clout, if he was sure it was fake, or just he didn’t know and got scammed. They are used by motogp moto2 and moto3 riders. Don't think they would be using them if they were as bad as your review

Eu já vou no 3° ls2, o primeiro é o mesmo modelo mas em KPA, usei 2 anos seguidos, verão e inverno, só troquei porque fez 2 anos, depois fui buscar um ls2 breaker, mais um ano e meio e ainda está novo, agora fui buscar um ls2 assault. Este gajo a partir do momento em que não percebe que a placa por cima é para ter uma densidade diferente está dito o que percebe de capacetes, e só a carapaça aguentar 2 marteladas de fúria sem penetrar... Olha 👌. E mesmo a 3 se fosse com o capacete completo não tinha atravessado

Yes, mine is also 3yrd old, crash two times, if we look at his dumb review , if you take out all the foam that strengthen the helmet no fcking helmet won't survive your dumb test, and plus i think its the best affordable cheap helmet compared to those expensive European helmets.
I had an accident riding motorcycle, and my head impacted directly in the floor around 60km, the LS2 healmet save my life, no damage at all, just scratches, no integrity damage.
Bet it wasn't a carbon fibre one . .glad it worked ..mine would not have worked

I have an LS2 that is 4 years old, and still feel new after many days and hours of riding. Are you sure it's a real LS2 helmet?, if it falls apart after only two years, it sounds like it could be a knock-off. Just sayin..

Not a LS2 fan, just have two Arrow Carbon. These are the only helmets that fit to my head. I think the assembly quality is not the best. But, one of my two helmets saved my life the other day when i crashed my S1000XR in a serious turn. It took three bad shocks, i felt it for real in my head. But, you know, finally just a few scratches on an arm, and my head is still round. For me, these helmets were nothing like a mistake.

I've had my LS2 for almost 10k miles. Worn every day , my only helmet and my only mode of transportation so it's worn ALOT and I live in Vegas so it gets HOT enough to burn if you touch it at noon. Crashed 2 times HARD (had surgery one of the times for broken ribs and arm ) and mine is just missing the back vent plastic from the fall... But that's IT. I THINK they are quality, I got mine in 2022 tho
Are you sure it's authentic? I bought an LS2 helmet from a reputable seller in Denmark. Ridden with it every day for a year and washed the cheek pillows as well. Holds up just fine. Haven't been in a crash luckily so I cannot comment on that. Mine is also EU certified.
I also suspect that he bought a fake LS2. Feel sorry for him though.
Agreed with companies like Wish and Bangood selling these helmets for $60 it does look like a copy.
This is definitely a copy and not an authentic ls2 helmet. Ls2 is super durable and will save you even if a 10 wheeler truck runs over your head
Agreed, I've been using the same helmet for 2 years, driven with it almost 60,000km, washed it once a week and the internals of the helmet did not look like that, no Chinese markings also

ADS W, I watched your presentation on the LS2 helmet. I understand your frustration, I get it. May I ask you a question, did you contact LS2 about your concerns? Did they respond? If yes what was the response?
I recently purchased the Vortex from LS2. I was impressed with the helmet, the liner was, or at least appears to be of very good quality. As I think you are aware the shell's main function is to anchor the helmet to your head, and secondly as a place to capture the foam. On the subject of the foam, manufacturers state that multiple layers of foam are used. The different layers are to have differing rates of collapse during an accident, so I can understand the piece in the top as being different, perhaps it was designed that way? As for the tape, perhaps that is used during assembly as a temporary anchor until a process is completed, the tape does not bother me at all. I am not defending LS2, I would hope you gave them the opportunity to work with you.
This guy doesn't truly understand helmet design. When you drive a car with a roll cage you need a SA rated helmet that protects from the type of damage he is inflicting in this video as would come from a broken roll cage or other object piercing the helmet. MA rated or motorcycle helmets are focused on keeping your brain from touching your skull.

I’m searching for a helmet with a decent price and I’ve come across other sites with LS2 helmet challenger GT and the interior and inner workings does not look like that one. I’m not talking about the color either maybe the ones I’m looking at is a newer model. Or that one was a counterfeit.... . It is 2020 after all.
I bet he got a chinese knockoff, because saving a lot of money is the safest way to go. I have 2 LS2 helmets, Bell, AGV, Rïot, Shark and Builtwell are the other ones I have and I can tell you that one of the LS2 do feels the best one of the lot.

After ONE impact (nevermind two) bad enough to send you to the operating room, that helmet has to go. No matter what it looks like on the outside, helmets are designed to absorb ONE hit, no more. After that the impact absorbing ability is seriously compromised... that lid is not providing you much protection anymore.
So you wouldn't recommend it then?

Knock off or fake helmet aside, with any foam backing or inner lining the shell would work integrally with the lining material to reduce the effects of any impact.

I have been down 5-6 times and every time I walked away. Each time I had on an Arai, Shoei, or HJC helmet. I know those helmets work, and I know there are other good helmet makers out there as well, (AGV, Shark, Bell etc..) I have heard mixed reviews on LS2, looks like you get a lot of bang for your buck but idk never owned one. Also keep in mind that the helmets the riders where in Motogp and other big time racing are custom made for the rider.

I owned several LS2 helmets and crashed with them, never had any issues. Make sure it comes with factory warranty when you buy it.

This helmet has to be fake. I did this test with an old 50 € base model of NAU (that is a low cost Portuguese brand and NEXX is an upper class Portuguese brand) and the results were better, mutch better. So many comments of people that dont know what are saying. This helmet has to be fake, its impossible an original approved helmet be so bad, does not pass the ECE 2205 test, no way.

Previously we had really expensive but adjustable helmets from the local bike store and I didn't really want to pay $50 again for another helmet. I searched and was fairly sure from the reviews that this helmet was what I was looking for- and it was! The pads inside are comfortable, the rim in front provides a bit of shade, but most of all for me there is the dial adjuster in the back which allows for a really secure fit on my daughters head. It seems like it will fit for a few years too which makes me even happier! She loves the pattern and I might end up buying another one for her twin sister (who has a much smaller head!)I definitely recommend this helmet. My daughter is 5 but has a big head. Her twin sister could fit in this one as well but it's a bit big.

I am not saying the helmet is good or bad, just saying that the fact it was maybe made in china, means NOTHING!! the alpinstars GP10, and the agv pista rr both now being made in china... just saying, I honestly dont know what would happen if i smoked my agv pista visor with a hammer direct like that what would happen, but this was a super entertaining video!!
China does make alot. .however it is alot less than you think ..I own a manufacturing company in the UK yes stuff cost more but at least it last and is what we say ..china makes stuff cheap due to material degradation ..they lie about what things are made off ..hence video

Your testing it so wrong the membrain holds 80% of the impcat force and shape of the helmet and no wonder the shell is falling apart when you are hitting it because all of the reinforcing is gone learn how helmets work before you test them it is pretty poor quality but the test you have dove arnt fair on the helmet.

Tbh kinds funny people use hammers and baseball bats to hit helmets. You do realise hammers have a very small high impact zone compared to a head. Not sayin it doesnt show us something but still funny its not a great test. It is a 2014 old ls2 so idk if they are all chinese made but doubt it
When I saw a friend of mine lose his life after hitting a small pole that had a street sign on I knew helmets are not just hitting the street ...he died with a shit helmet ..wear one like this and you will die too after hitting the street sign pole ..it's a fair test of that be sure

I have been a biker since I was 16 and lost 12 friends along the way from biking accidents ..I have seen a few spills and if it wasn't for a shoei helmet when I was 31 I would not be around to tell ..A good Helmet is number one on the bike kit list . This LS2 is just junk I proved it ...nothing more

The only time you should truly love your helmet is when it's done its job . In my opinion with LS2 you may not be in a condition to learn that it's didn't do its job .. this is a genuine helmet and it broke so easily thank goodness not while on my head

This is the fake version I crashed with my ls2 ff397 on a track while going pretty fast and I didn't even feel the hit and my helmet is fine only a few scratches and the visor broke off

I have done this to a Shoei carbon helmet in the past but I did not video it as it was a few years ago .. It could not be broken, so don't buy anyone that says this video is not factual . The carbon shell is complete junk .. as is the rest
