Up next is my NO HYPE FRAGRANCE REVIEW on the latest Parfums de Marly fragrance geared towards the spring/summer season, this is none other than my review on Parfums de Marly PERSEUS! As always I will describe this scent in-depth and go over the scent development, usage, performance and I'll also address all the MIXED REVIEWS on this latest PDM fragrance. Enjoy!

Bought this yesterday. I get the TDH reference on this, in the drydown. Think of a brighter fresher less dirty version of TDH. Going on 15 hours wearing this and I can still smell it. (Get some on your shirt) Longevity is not an issue here. I like it. It smells similar to bath and body works orange + ginger aromatherapy lotion. No joke!!! I agree with Troy's review of this and a lot of what he is saying Except for the price, its $370 retail for 125ml. GOOD REVIEW!!

I get a floral cousin of Creeds Original Vetiver more than anything else.I do not get TDH at all. As for longevity I can say this, I live in south florida very humid and hot. Today when I went and got the sample I rode my motorcycle with leather gloves. Once I got home sweating with gloves on the fragrance was still there pretty strong.
100% correct, I get more of the OV than TDH. the opening is harsh but I find that for most of PDMs. The dry down is great though. It feels dry in the dry down, I wish it was just a tad sweeter,
My fave PDM freshie is Galloway by far but will check this out asap.

Totally agree marketing did this classic scent wrong. I picked it up thinking it was a summer bomb, but it is a classic people pleaser with a citrus theme good for all seasons.

brother as summer banger you should really try Zen-Gy by Unique'e, 40% oil concentration, ginger, elemi, grapefruit, bergamot, red wine, cedar wood, it is really unique and a damn power house, that fragrance smells like a milionaire in the summer heat and for me it's the real summer banger
I don't get any "vintage" vibe on this. If anything, this is a modern but mature take on grapefruit, bergamot and green mandarin.
Old rich man perfume however u wanna interpret it 👍🏻
I'd love to see PDM's take on an Iris fragrance!

Right off as soon as I wore it after 3 to 5 minutes all I got was Roja dove elysium parfum cologne!!!! Lol and that's it , the entire wearing experience was like wearing a clone of the fragrance off my skin.
So like TdH layered with TdH eau Givree? I’ll have to grab a sample, I already have the other two.
i dont really see the TDH resemblance, TDH is dirtier in my opinion, this is not as dirty, heavy grapefruit with vetiver in the background, nice fragrance but it's not great.
I enjoy TDH parfum and is actually only one in my collection I bought a second bottle.
Should I get this or it will be redundant?

PDMs are the best, I got this one and I loved it even if I don't love it, I blind bought it and I wasn't wrong. And out of all my PDMs Kalan is a must have the best!!! And the more Unique
Smells exactly like Greenley. Just sprayed both yesterday. Surprised you missed that.

I’m literally smelling both now on the test strip. There is probably 2 notes on there that differentiate the two. Other then that, pretty identical
Went to the PDM store today in Manhattan NYC… wanted to like this fragrance soooooo much.. to me you’re better off taking grapefruit and spilling it on your chest.. it smells like a grapefruit …and it dries down to a medicine pill type of smell.. it’s nothing spectacular at all… if you want a better citrus PDM scent.. go with SEDLEY… a great winter and fall scent is PDM ALTHAIR🤷🏾♂️

This fragrance shows exactly how much people’s noses interpret the smell differently, just got a sample, to me it’s TDH and DG LIGHT BLUE INTENSE on my skin it stay’s linear, I have both no need for this one.

@@jbthetestgod ABSOLUTELY NOT AVENTUS IN ANY WAY. I would put this as a floral musk better cousin to creeds original vetiver. Every single thing stated in this video is spot on aside from Old Man vibes. The citrus just hangs out and it seems to get better and better as it dries down. Sedley is not even in this ballpark at all, even with quality. My girls exact words were that a "blowjob instigator right there". SOLD lol. If youre near a nordstrom go there and check it out. They have it exclusively for the next few weeks.
