Surprisingly, Padmini revealed that she lost out on roles that went to Shabana Azmi and Parveen Babi. She was too focused on Navin Nischol and Prakash Mehra, therefore she flopped. Navin also flopped, focus was the problem. Good actor,but he left his wife for PAdmini and she ditched him. Navin lost both-same way she lost both -36 ghante and Ishq3 -jaise karni waise barni. Navin nischol after leaving his wife was a rolling stone with no ground to hold him and he kept rolling. Maybe this woman was responsible.

A great example of how things can go wrong in the industry. Once you are looking at a great career and then opportunities keep getting missed due to reasons that you don’t know about. Then you find yourself in a situation where you can’t do much. Mostly, dignified people don’t make attempts to start buttering resourceful people. This industry demands a lot in return for small favours and often times you end up getting exploited emotionally, physically and financially. I can understand why this great lady didn’t reach out. Huge respect for her.
