It would be awesome if you guys did a case study/documentary where you actually bought a site from Flippa and documented the process of choosing a site, using ahrefs to do all of the tasks you mentioned here, and then outsourced the content to grow the site; finishing with you selling it on for a profit. Your vids are great at explaining everything, but would be a really interesting angle to see how the process actually panned out in real life! Either way - love the Ahrefs vids!

I would say the website has to be from relevant niche with relevant backlink profile. You can benefit from referral traffic and "link juice" of the domain you are looking at. Some people use authoritative domains to create their new site, some people setup proper redirects to benefit from these two. I doubt we can come up with a generic video that will suit all of the marketers at the same time, but thanks for suggestion. - Max
well, you give a lot of importance to the backlinks, would you buy a site with proven healthy traffic but no backlinks? I mean a site that only relies on content quality?

You do not need website admin access to run the audit. Ahrefs Site Audit allows you to audit pretty much any website, also you may still perform lots of analysis around the website you do not own. - Max

Not necessarily. The health site that I sold this year didn't get negatively impacted by any of the recent updates. The example shown in the video does seem to have been impacted around the time "Medic" was rolled out, which is why I didn't think it would be worth the trouble/headache. -Sam

I guess you need to watch videos on our channel to get a better understanding of how SEO works. This will help you to control the job you pay for SEO agencies. Additionally, you may try doing some of the tricks on your own using Ahrefs. I would concentrate on those activities that bring most value with lowest budget, improve these and then test new things. - Max

Asking for the site 80K that doesn't earn anything seems a bit much. It's even hard to monetize this. Maybe if somebody wants to compete with Grammarly. I like the domain name, but not for 80K.

I added the XPath code to the Selector section and hit on scrape but the text box was empty and there were no websites on the side.

You usually need to sing an NDA (non disclosure agreement), which is free and well worth it so you can look at sites to buy

Most probably you will benefit from these links, so I see no reason to disavow them. I would not worry about it.
