  • Hey everybody, thanks for watching! In this video we hike to Big Creek Cave Falls in the Ozark National Forest. We planned on camping out along the creek after we saw the waterfall but the combination of not very much open space to put a tent and Angie getting a headache we decided to just make it a day hike. The waterfall was flowing great and even though there were almost a dozen cars at the trailhead the area never felt crowded and we got to enjoy the waterfall to ourselves.
We live close enough to the trail that we were able to make it there and back without taking any stops and kept our distance when passing others on the trail. Stay safe and stay sane in these crazy times. Thank you for watching, hit the thumbs up and subscribe button if you enjoyed!

This was our first time, we love it too. Wish it was permitted to explore the cave tho! Can't wait to get back down there and explore that area again one day!

No this was in spring time after a lot of rains. If you don't live too far you should go back March-May. It's so much fun when all the little streams are flowing.

Not since I was a child, I think Colorado and Utah are the top states on our list to visit once we can finally do a road trip again. I'll check out your channel!

Ah man, we live out in Vegas now actually. We lived in Branson and it was tough to find any sort of backpacking community..
There's a Facebook group called Backpacking Arkansas: BPA and another group more specifically for the Ozark Highlands Trail. They're pretty solid and you might have luck finding some people to meet up for hikes there.
