@booshiman8108 just Christian, like no set rules, i think? I'll be honest i was raised presbyterian and went to a presbyterian church, but it's just different flavors of Christianity. Catholicism and orthodox are the ones with major differences, of course.
I have a feeling there is a LOT of cleaning up those lines when the tape is removed. How much razor blade scraping was necessary? Paint almost always gets behind the tape due to capillary action.
No scraping actually! I did it again this year and also none. There were a few spots that weren’t perfectly straight and paint got behind but the point wasn’t for it to be perfect so we didn’t even think twice about it. Most lines were straight though because we blot/dot the paint with a sponge.

I would use 1/4 inch masking tape to make the lines thinner.

Yes! Paint is washable but to make it even easier add a drop of dish soap to the paint!
