Bc it’s the worst rated salon, I think they had the mindset it would turn out bad, and that’s why she wanted to find errors with it. I think they look good, if she had tried a different design like French tips, I’m curious if it would have turned out differently.

@@malinasworld yeah it's extremely overpriced, but overall not a bad job. i can see the manicure itself is quite good, she didn't damage the skin, the shape is a bit too pointy for this length but maybe the op wanted it that way, and they seem nice and smooth (don't know the word, but like the overall volume and shape seems pretty flawless) I'm a nail tech in russia's second largest city and gel nails like this here cost around 2000 rubles (about £20) in a salon, if you count the design it can go up to 3000 (£30)
I mean, she did her best. I don’t think they look bad, they don’t look like the photo, but honestly, it’s better that she gave you something good and different than try to go for that look and fail

yeah my thoughts exactly. i bet the nail tech told her that and offered the design she was actually able to do. but normally you could call to the salon or dm them on social media and ask whether they can do a specific design before making an appointment

I only know of one in my city that could actually do that design because it's a special technique that you can't just guesstimate on. I would be more curious to find out how they would do with a typical manicure.but I think judging them so harshly on their location and one aspect of the experience just makes me feel as though you were dead set on a negative review regardless.
You should take a photo of those nails for comparison and then go to a top rated nail place and show em the same inspo photo and compare it to the first one
To be fair people think that desin is simple but you need a whole ass colour pistol or whatever it’s called for it. But also your nail tech should tell you if they can’t do something or don’t have the materials for it so .. I mean idk.
