I'll never afford an Ineos Grenadier, so I sat in one to feel better

  • I spotted a truck load of Ineos Grenadiers enroute from Autoport in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia to Missisausage, Onterrible.
The drivers were very nice, they let me take a gander. I couldn't stop smiling the rest of the day, so frickin cool, man.
I have heard a great deal of these vehicles, I would love one, but after the driver said the cream one I sat in was $120,000CAD, my interest diminished significantly. I am glad they exist but I'll likely never afford one.
Hopefully this video captures that nostalgic pre-2010 youtube feel.

I think they're real cool, but if I were to do actual offroading in NA, I'd look for a Jeep TJ. Parts availability, ease of work and general ubiquity can't be beat.
Maybe once a firm dealership network is established, an Ineos might make sense, but that's at least a decade away.

I predict that in 2 years, there will be a tone of these available as 'USED" for an ok price. Just like yhe G wagon, many fancy moms will buy these only to realize that they are offroad vehicles that arent really comfortable as daily drivers. I will pick mine up for $60k witj 20k miles lol. Give it 2 years and watch.

I'd wait until there is a solid branch of dealer/customer support in Nort Murica before even looking at one
