But even then helicopters also exist. Now drones. People forget air travel was revolutionary in the 60s. We have air travel now. Believe it or not we are living in what they would ocnsider the city of tomorrow. Because we were born into it, it's hard to see it. But can you imagine your life without freeways?

Yup! Corning ware was the kitchenware of the future... until Dow spun off Corning as a separate business and saddled it with ALL of the legal liability for silicone breast implants. They kept the glassware though. Except now it is no longer boro-silicate. It's just tempered soda-glass. It explodes when you take it from freezer to oven.

Funny you mention that. I was wondering how emergency vehicles were going to travel in this design and have freedom of movement.
No INDIVIDUAL CAR will ever breakdown, but the entire system can. I have been evacuated from the WDW Peoplemover.
