FORCED OUT of my Bangkok THAILAND AirBnB 😱

  • What a crazy day, I was told that I have to leave my Bangkok AirBnB!
So I was kind of forced out of my Bangkok Thailand Airbnb. I received an email from AirBnb telling me they were canceling my Bangkok Thailand AirBnb and that they would call me first thing in the morning to help me find another Bangkok Thailand
I am currently in the process of securing a long term visa in Thailand. I need a form that my Bangkok Thailand host provides as part of that paperwork. I made the decision to not get another Bangkok AirBnB and instead get a Bangkok Thailand Hotel. Hotel chains are familiar with this form and it will be much easier for me to get it.
This is the first time I've been kicked out of AirBnb. Kind of crazy! Hope you enjoyed this shocking development of me being Forced Out of my Bangkok Thailand AirBnb! It ended well, but it wasn't something I'd wich on anyone!
Take care & see you next video!

Wow, welcome to Thailand. You did the right thing by leaving. I learning that Airbnb don't insist someone leave unless illegal activity or your safety was in jeopardy. Yes, it was a beautiful location but safety first and you don't need anything to cause your visa status to be delayed. Enjoy, let's see the pool & gym in the hotel!

I figure either that complex does not allow airbnb rentals and someone reported it, another guest found a camera hidden, or someone is trolling you and reported the host to airbnb to mess with you. Glad you found a place to stay with no problems I have 4 airbnb reservations coming up hope there is no problem like this. When we went to Russia I stayed at a hotel to get my visa checked in then we went to my mother in laws house for the rest of the stay for the same reason.

Apparently the building we were in was commercial and not residential and someone called it in because they saw all of us going in & out. You made the right move, my last AIRBNB in Bangkok was only a year old but the place was dirty and trashed I went to BIG C and cleaned it myself. The owner sent a maid to help me, after a month of constant problems. I asked to be moved to another property if she had one. She agreed and I moved to a new building less than a year old with a much cleaner room and better facilities. I wrote my review after I left BANGKOK and the AIRBNB deleted the post. So I really don’t trust AIRBNB anymore what I do now is travel to my destination stay in a hotel while I visit my AIRBNB in person. If I have someone I can trust at my destination I have them FaceTime me and visit the place in person for me. Enjoy the rest of your stay .

Wow! That was a hairy situation! I had a concern with my AirBnB in Bangkok (I am pretty sure it was against the building’s rules from the signage in the building and the warning from the host to tell anyone I was visiting a friend rather than renting) but your issue sounds like it could have been more serious. Like you, I checked out early and used hotel points for the remainder of my stay.

I think AirBnB needs to step up and address this issue. If only places registered with the city as hotels can rent out places then AirBnB should be verifying this and not allowing listings that aren't legal. Who wants to be on holiday and worrying the whole time about breaking the law in a foreign country? Who wants to be told they need to sneak in and lie about being an AirBnB guest?
