Spent a couple hours trying to get Bard to read and convert an image into a spreadsheet. Nothing complicated, the end product should have been 3-columns and 5-rows. It got the formatting right but the further into the data it got the lower the accuracy. For example, the column and row labels were all correct. Generally, B2 and B3 were correct, but even after I pointed out the errors (one at a time), it simply couldn't convert an image into an image into a 3 x 5 spreadsheet. It did, however, add an (incorrect) "Insights" section additional notes that, had they been correct, would have added a lot of value to my task. Work in progress. Great videos. Thanks!
Great first look video. I think on the link you copied it missed an "a"on the next line so not all of it was copied. That may have been why it didn't work. Hopefully they will make them hyperlinks in the future.

The way these models work is by guessing the next “token” (think words, letters, numbers, and other characters) based on training it on a lot of example. The answers are wrong because sometimes the highest probability token isn’t the actual next right word, meaning the approximation is somewhat off

I’ve noticed with LLM’s connected to the internet they tend to be really careful referencing sources, meaning they tend to lean towards things that are a bit aged with social proof so it’s sure that it’s relevant. They tend not to provide new sources in my experience unless you do some prompt engineering

I had gpt 4, the wolfram Plugin doesn't improve gpt's lack of mathematical understanding.
