If you see the close video security did their job. The guy was trying to jump up to the stage and security stopped him. Then the guy started throwing punches. He had to be reduced. Dave was not aware of the whole situation and reacted to only what he saw. Dave was wrong.
The security guys were just doing their jobs and they didn't beat anyone. They just stopped the guy climbing on the stage. And look at the empty arena...
