The Style Boyz reunite at the Poppy Music Awards and blow the crowd away with their new song, "Incredible Thoughts."
FILM DESCRIPTION:
This mockumentary satire of the music business and modern celebrity centers on self-absorbed pop rapper Conner4Real (Andy Samberg). Once a member of a popular rap trio called the Style Boyz, Conner is now a solo artist about to drop his second album. Unfortunately, the release gets abysmal reviews, and his career begins to melt down when his attempts at rehabing his image lead to such disasters as a global blackout and a proposal to his girlfriend interrupted by a wolf attack. Eventually, Conner considers burying the hatchet with former colleagues Owen (Jorma Taccone) and Lawrence (Akiva Schaffer) in order to reunite the Style Boyz. Tim Meadows, Maya Rudolph, Sarah Silverman, and Imogen Poots co-star. Samberg, Taccone, and Schaffer co-wrote the screenplay, while Taccone and Schaffer shared directing duties.

One of the most heartwarming ends to a movie I've seen in a long time. Popstar is super underrated.
That's actually not true. It has great ratings, and most people that sees it loved it, the problem was it made no money.
it can still underrated because of the lack of revenue when in theaters.

is low-key one of the funniest lines in the whole movie
It’s one of my favorite Lonely Island lines of all time. The idea that garbagemen are notorious for being idiots, and that the Style Boyz think it’s mind-blowing to think they might actually have some intellect makes me laugh every time.

The Lonely Island have always had pretty good "tracks" that they sing over.
If you look at a lot of their background music for songs like Jizz in my Pants, on a boat, like a boss, boombox, diaper money, etc... the beats are very well done. The reason I can like a song from them and not really a fan of 'newer' music is because the lyrics are comedy. So its like you get the good beats that come with modern music, but you ditch the arrogant pop star singing un-ironically about how awesome they are
