What a wonderful find. Thank you so much for posting.
You are always so thoughtful and timely with your posts Spiderwoman-thank you for posting this gem!
Glad you liked this, and kind of you as always.
I think I’ve watched this 40 times. It’s so beautifully sung and acted. Thank you.
Wow! Absolutely brilliant, and absolutely lovely. Both singers in both songs.
I was so pleasantly surprised on closing night when Celia and Vicki stopped the show cold with "Bird Upon the Three"
I saw it three times and I remember a huge ovation at every performance for that song. It really was an audience being taken by surprise, and I relish the memory.
One of the most beautiful versions of this gorgeous song! Thank you!
So,so beautiful! Congrats, Celia on your Tony 2019! And thank you Aurora, for lighting some darkness!
How wonderful! Thank you Aurora!
This is a gorgeous performance
I feel like this was a preview of what Celia & Victoria could have been in The Light in the Piazza. Does anyone know why Celia was replaced by Kelli?
From what I've heard, the authors were experimenting with making Clara more mature and older. They figured out pretty quickly it didn't work, but in the meantime, Celia booked Spelling Bee.
I saw Celia in Piazza in Chicago, and I thought she was absolutely brilliant. Kelli sounded better but no one acted it like Celia.
