I spent almost my whole adult life in prison and on Coke and Heroin, and was saved In prison in 2006. My friend do not be deceived by the message of Victory outreach! There is no mention of the power of the Holy Spirit making one born again (John 3:3), or no mention of a new heart and a new Spirit (Ezek 36:25-27), no mention of a new hatred for sin and a desire to turn from it (Acts 3:19), no mention of a new desire to know God and have Christ as Lord (John 17:3)! Just a person who was sick of drugs, and the life they led, and it was the strict rules of the home that changed them. My friends consider this.. Being a Christian is not about turning from a bad life with no purpose to a better life with a better purpose! Its about turning from sin to serve the living God as the result of God's divine intervention. There's a big difference my friends and in short the difference is this.... one wants a better life and the other one wants God! and to know Him and worship him zealously!. VO go out and preach "Jesus Loves you" and "God's got a plan for your life" But no one in the scripture that represented God EVER said this to none believers! Not from Genesis to Revelation. What they're are really doing is preying on the vulnerable, cleaning them up a bit, then using them for their own purpose.... Same as Potters house, JW's, Mormons, SDA's and other "christian" cults where they all start with the same 3 words.... "God told me" followed by some man centred vision that really primarily benefits the one who claims "god spoke to him or her" when in reality IT IS SO OBVIOUS THAT HE DID NOT. God DID NOT and could NOT have promised sonny Isaiah 45:2-3 (It's talking about Cyrus NOT SONNY).....come on people switch the brain back on and think about it.
Victory outreach is just a place were bums go to get there 3 hots and a cot and not be in jail . The methods used are basically to portion the rashins and replace food with church and bible study. Then church then work then bible study and then dtarve and eat more bible .
I've been attending Victory Outreach since 1996. I am a witness to many men and women who come in so destroyed with no hope whats so ever. I'm proud to say that no matter how these young people come. They become responsible, respectful, and hard working people in our ministry. I'm proud to say if it weren't for these young people. We would not be here today. Many who graduate from the home devote themselves faithfully to the ministry. They are very grategul that they are truly free from their past. Many go around the World to commit themselves to reach the hurting & the loss. I may have not come from drugs, prostitution, or a gang life, but I was a hurting, confused, and needed restoration in my soul. So....once again, I'm pround to be where God is TRANSFORMING LIVES DAILY. WE ARE VICTORY OUTREACH. GOD BLESS YOU.
