I am getting perfect in modal verbs. It couldn't have been possible without your clear explanation.
Thank you for making this very clear to me. I should not have listened when somebody told me that this was not used in English. Now I realized that he didn't know grammar. Kudos to you!
I could have become a master of English, if I started watching this brilliant channel before!

Thank you for providing us world with free knowledge.
Very wonderful video. I will have to watch this video for next 5-6 times then I will be able to understand it completely. I never watched such an excellent explaination on this topic before, so I always remained confused on this topic. Now I will watch this video repeatedly to understand it. Thanks a lot.
You could've never been more effective in explaining the difference between could've and might've and hope I have used it correctly. Best regards from a poor Italian who strains himself to improve his English.
Congratulations . I liked very much this video. Teacher is great in your job.

Very nice sir..........
If I hadn't come across your channel I wouldn't have got such a wonderful opportunity to improve my English.
Bro the way it should ve been pronounced makes me wanna repeat it again and again
@@omgdaddynopls5977 I'm yet to watch some. Moreover repetition is required to reinforce learning. I need watching the videos again and again that I couldn't have done.
Hi!
Thak you for this beneficial lesson!
Thanks for your pretty good lesson man! But I think I must watching it again & again to assimilate this lesson good! See you!!
Thanks. Yes, you might have to watch it again.
Superb sir....

You are great!
Very nice....
Thank you for your brilliant video!! Okinawa is the correct actually ;)
Thank you for your brilliant comment.
He's not talking about Okinawa, he's talking about "quinoa", a very nutritious grain from the Andes.
Dear Teacher, this is a difficult grammar point. As a foreigner who lives off the Iles, my learning pattern consists of two phases at least, 1. Catch the idea - learn to understand 2 memories and find the techniques to use the grammar or vocab, whatever I have just understood.
Dear Teacher Gideon, can you help with implementing point two.
it was very hepful thank you
I'm learning so much w u😌
Thanks for detail
You teach very well
if i had discovered your youtube chanel earlier i would have known english pretty well.
Super!👍
thank you so very much
No one could have explained this topic any better!
I couldn't have wished for a better comment.
If I haven't got a time today to check my Gmail account which linked this cite, I really would have missed this great lesson from you! I might have forgotten this one by one but this would've been embedded to my instinct. I may have lacked attention for it for I was a very busy man but I couldn't have forgotten it because this has always been my source to learn and brush up my knowledge further.
I need a glass of 20 years old scotch from Skies island for such an intensiv lesson... Cheers and Thx again !
I fell by chance on your channel. I couldn't stop binging your videos. I learned a lot, thank you very much. But my only regret is that for 30 years I still don't understand the usage of "might" . Every other modal verbs translated differently in French and make them somehow not that hard to understand (je voudrais,j'aimerais, je veux) but "I might" is really a mystery for me ;-)
Pour "I shall", j'ai laissé tombé ;-)
Thank you sir
I couldn't have missed all your video, if I hadn't been busy🤣
I should have found out about this channel sooner!
Thanks sir
I would not understood the modal verbs in the past, If I had not watched your video, Thank You
I could have learned it before but I never had so nice explanations.
That is so nice of you
A late thank you for this video! I have struggles when I use them, even if already know the past modals.
This is exactly what I needed for a good refresh. Thank you very much, I wish you to have a good day, sir.
I would have watched your lesson much early, had I avoided many awkward misunderstandings. However, I should have studied more English grammar but I couldn't have been able to determine my English capacity. I have wrongly thought that I was not keen enough to understand this topic, but I could have understood well, maybe I might have needed to meet a good teacher like you early
i would have learnt more if comes to modal verb if i had opprotunity to find this channel before :D unfortunately i have lost ton of hours in school
Excellent as always. Why not making a summary at the end of the video or in the description ?
Thank u. Might have n would have can be used interchangeably? Please clarify
I should have been watching your channel long time ago.
Hello, Gideon! Great job! I'm chuffed to bits by your useful lessons and great videos, too.
Talking about English grammar rules, we also have "ought to" as present modal, don't we?
1. Is there any "ought to have" or "ought to've" as past modal in English grammar?
2. Is there any "ought have to" or "ought've to" as past modal in English grammar?
3. So, what is the past modal of "ought to" itself in English grammar and the negative form of its past modal?
4. What is the difference between "ought to" and "must" and "have to" in English grammar?
5. What is the past modal of "have to" in English grammar?
Thanks in advance.
We have another video about "ought to". yes "ought to have" exists though in British English it's not used so much....but yes it's possible. I'll much answer your other questions in a future video.
Much obliged for answering my question. All right, then. Thanks for having a plan to answer my other questions in a future video.
Thank you for the lesson! Please, explain me if it is possible to make such questions:
Must she have missed her train?
Could he have helped her?
What is the problem? None.i am here purely for fun n listening to something witty. Thx. This can't be that much of a problem. Actually it's exactly my cuppa tea...
I have been waiting for this lesson! Thank you! There is a difficulty, teacher. It is during conversation, where people use contractions all the time and it is not so clear. Teacher, you could make a video, short, with some sentences where you use contractions. Now, the homework: (me in future) “If I had watched this lesson five times, I would have become more proficient at spoken English.”.
I already made a lesson about contractions. I'm sure you'll understand everything soon.
Can "Would have+past participle" construction also be used to make assumptions about past?
I'm new in this process of learning English. However, if I had watched this videos before, I could have improved much more.
I would not have burned the cake if I was not watching the film at the same time.
thank you:D
