Pelicans had a chance to lock up a playoff spot but lose to the Los Angeles Lakers 124-108. The two teams now meet again this upcoming Tuesday, April 16th with a playoff spot on the line. Here's my initial reaction.

I'm with you Jono!! Nothing wrong with having great expectations for the talent on this roster, but there's NO reason they should be in a play-in situation again this season. Today was on the coaching and they let the Lakers get in their heads. It's a must to get the win Tuesday!

Pels should beat the lakers, because LA doesn't want to play Denver in the first round. Lakers figure their chances are better defeating the winner of the kings/warriors at home and then taking on Oklahoma in the first round. Lebron and the LA organization along with assistance from the league and the media are great at promoting the laker's brand.
