Not every general category person is rich. & If you come with lame counter that many people are misusing this reservation then it goes the same for OBC, SC & STs. Many of my friends with reservation are from affluent families. In today's ICT era almost everyone is having access to information & education (even the village people are aware of reels tiktok etc which shows lack of information is no more an issue). So it's better to scrap this reservation shit altogether or have reservation based only on economic criteria. OBC reservation is the biggest scam going on in our country with lakhs of rich yadavas & gujjars misusing it.

@@Qwertyuioplkjhgfdsa12345 Probably that reservation people are facing the wrath of their own actions. Since there is a cap on reservation, they are mostly bound within that limit & accordingly promoted. Also lack of merit & deserving candidates from quota section is another reason. Evidently a general category person who scored more marks will be considered competent than a low scoring person. Even in class if we ignore the reservation criteria, meritorious students were preferred by teachers. But at the time of admissions this reservation shit gave level playing field to some undeserving students too.
Also in courts & public services there is seniority order which have reservation too. So nowadays more people with reservation are getting promoted easily than general ones.
Talking about anchors, it's clear who is more capable will acquire such roles. Ask your fellow reservation candidates to work hard & prove their calibre in different fields. But no, these less hardworking peeps only bark about government jobs coz they know they can get it easily at low marks.
How many peoples living in the country below poverty level and 80percent of the peoples belongs to SC/ST/BC/OBC then what they will do. Upper class people only 10percent How can we digest these ratio.
We like to rule 80percent of the peoples nit10percent of the peoples. That's why we expect to form India Alliance Government.

Increasing reservations more than fifty percent by Rahul Gandhi speeches and CJI must step in also ECI when courts have clearly stated reservations cannot be more than fifty percent and merit must have its place .Is it not false promises for votes.
This is certainly going to backfire. Nowadays, reservation should be given solely on the basis of economic criteria and not on the basis of Caste, community or religion. Be it, Ur, obc or sc/St, if the person belonging to any one of these groups, is in an economically backward situation, then and only then, s/he should be considered a recipient of reservation and all benefits attached therewith.
And by vouching for going to whatever extent it requires, to provide reservation inconsiderately, Rahul, in a way, is ascertaining the lower percentage of vote for the Congress which is basically a party of educated, civil, refined, elite masses (and earlier, the wealthy landlords), who are definitely going to be irked by such a proposal made by one of top brass of the GRAND OLD PARTY.
