I did this last week. And today got an alert pop up that said check fuel cap door. Any clue how to clear that?

That message is from driving with the gas cap loose or off. Make sure the gas station attendant put your fuel cap on correctly, remove the cap, reseat and turn till it clicks. it should reset in a few minutes of driving with the gas cap installed correctly.
Make sure you installed the fuel door so it does not interfere with the closing of your gas cap
