How a message is delivered is extremely important. Someone who's angrily putting out a hateful message is going to be dismissed and treated with skepticism as supposed to someone putting out an optimistic message out of love and good intentions.

Women tend to use language like that to be more indirect about what they mean, although she and andrew both know she means it in the definitive. she wouldn’t fail English, she knows how English works obviously, it’s just communicating that she doesn’t feel confident enough to attack him directly, so she softens her accusation to show that she’s not trying to be aggressive.

The problem as I see it, and I believe this speaks to Andrews point. Is women want to treat faith and religion like a buffet. They want to pick and choose what they want and leave the rest behind. There is also the part of religion that if you accept Jesus died for our sins then all of your sins are forgiven. I believe this is misinterpreted a lot, because people will treat it as a free pass. That they can sin unabashedly and when the day of judgement comes, so long as you have the answer to the test. All is forgiven and just come on in. You literally need to sell your possessions and help people who starve every day if you want to go to Heaven. Jesus will cast you into hell without a moment of hesitation if you are a Goat: Matthew 25. The cross is a constant reminder of sacrifice. Faith requires sacrifice. People want salvation to be easy. Most of it is made up shit with no good evidence or hard proof. So he lives his life around something that is false/fake but states that he uses logic. In his religion especially, he is told to be humble, kind, and loving. I’ve watched a bunch of episodes of the Whatever podcasts, and I always feel like the majority of the women aren’t great at getting their point across or what their saying is not based on logic, but I’ll also say that every episode I’ve watched where Andrew Wilson has been on, he’s been rude, hostile, interrupts the ladies, etc. which I believe plays into this woman’s point. He doesn’t portray the simplest values and characteristics of being a Christian, while continuously arguing the lesser known values of Christianity. It’s a little hypocritical.
On a separate note, to this woman’s point… we should acknowledge that women are emotional beings, so communicating in a hostile way is not going to be received well. In most cases, instead of hearing your point, it’ll be in one ear and out the other- the women are only going to be thinking “this guys a dick” rather than actually listening to his points. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing doesn’t really matter because it’s just true. So if you have a panel full of women and half of the audience at home are women, communicating in a way that women will acknowledge and hear is the way to have a bigger impact on women. She says “if you want the world to be less degenerate… I wonder what your motive is in being so harsh” I agree with her that it’s a valid point to bring up.
you dont have right to change faith and what faith is just because you dont agree with it. if thats the case go start your own religion then leave the original alone
yeh yours is not the original...your's is one version of many after it was copied and translated and transcribed from ancient languages that have gne extinct as well as all the parts that were removed or possibly added to change it to a certain narrative
