- In today's episode, we set out to finally become PADI certified open-water scuba divers. We've loved snorkeling for a long time, and we decided it was finally time to take our underwater exploration to the next level🐠🤿

Yes and Yes 👍🏼 I really want to do it … I bought my first Thailand travel book and researching… that’s when I mean business! Saw my lung specialist last week I’ve had a battery of tests first one came back negative so hopefully 🙏🏼 they all come back negative so I can stop the treatment end of next month and start focusing on something positive like’ PADI’ I’ve really enjoyed this vlog it gives me hope. I remember my first pool dive and breathing under water .... it changed my life!
I certified in Malta, and did the advanced course in Hurghada, qualifying on my actual 40th birthday, we sailed back after the last night dive with a cake & champagne disco !
I have since diven more dives in Hurghada on a week's liveaboard, near Athens, and on Bali's north east coast.
A new world will open for you 2 men, and the joy of doing this with your partner must add to the fun.
As a solo traveller, it's a great way to meet people!
It's truly a life-changing feeling!🙌

I have almost 6000 dives around the world..i roast in many videos big scuba channels!! Thailand is not the best destination to star your scuba! BUT in this video we saw that it is possible to do it safe and the correct way VERY WELL DONE TO YOUR INSTRUCTOR this is how every instructor must do!!! and not only sign divers..well done to you both for doing the course the proper way and you are lucky to find that instructor...

This was such a special vlog! It was so cool seeing the process of getting certified to open water dive! It's something I've always thought about but haven't made a firm decision on haha I just loved seeing Phuket and all of its beauty! I can't wait to head back to Thailand and explore some of these areas. Travel safe and looking forward to the next episode!

I had been away from the channel for a while, so had to binge all the episodes I’d missed! Loved them all! I recently went in my first dive in Mauritius and thoroughly enjoyed it, so yes, I definitely want to get certified in future! Thanks for the amazing quality vlogs and insights!

I appreciate and enjoyed this vlog about you leaning how to scuba dive and getting certification. It seemed like a very intense course. I did submarine training when I was in the military and we had to simulate evacuating a sunken submarine and having to float up 100ft without scuba gear and being careful not to ascend too fast and get the bends. I think your experience is a lot more fun. Looking forward to your next adventure. In the meantime stay well. 🙏👍😎
