So here we go again :D My new video about Eowyn and Thranduil!
Wanted a shorter story? NO! :D Not on this channel probably :D (sad =_=)
Well, I think this is one of my video that are not tragic..probably... Anyway, you decide how it feels :D but I put so much time and efforts here omg. I didn't know that I will have some problems with music choice this time. I changed about 5 songs here, cuz I just couldn't imagine the story...And then I found beautiful Trevor Demaere...and everything has changed :D
I decided to make our lovely king the way he IS SUPPOSED TO BE! I decided to show his from the best side, not as a greedy, arrogant badass.
So let's talk about the video itself:
Thranduil has come for help to Rohan and fought on the side of humans. After the fight he was watching around for any soldiers could be alive and then he found Eowyn. He took her to Rohan where she was healed. Later, Theoden hold a feast to remember all fallen elves and people who gave their lives for peace. Eowyn came to Thranduil and handed him a goblet of wine to thank for her rescue. After the feast, a loyal friend of Thranduil - Elrond (who has a power of foreseen) tells the king of Mirkwood that it is not the best decision to fall in love with the mortal. And Thranduil knew that his friend was right...
When the king of Mirkwood was going to leave Rohan he faced with the "challenging nature" of Eowyn :D who wanted to go with him, but Thranduil stood his ground, so he left without the Lady of Rohan (for not too long though haha). Some time passed and Eowyn came to Mirkwood! And then Thranduil gave up :D
As she was mortal, he tried to keep her safe as strong as he could. He truly cared about his love. Maybe there is a sense to feel this feeling at least ones per life without worries about mortality issues? Because this love was real.
One night Eowyn saw a dream: a great wave climbing over green lands and above the hills...Thranduil had some worries, but didn't show it to the lady of Rohan saying: "Sleep, Eowyn...Sleep". On the next day Gandalf comes to Mirkwood (what was a bad sign). Thranduil talked with the wizard and discussed the dream of his wife: "Sometimes storm is just a storm". Gandalf replied that the armies of ocrs are on the way and the king of Mirkwood should protect his lands from the evil.
When Thranduil was going to leave his place, Eowyn came and tried to go with her king. He was mad and asked her to stay in safe place. And she had to stay...
Some time passed, Eowyn went out of the castle remembering the words of Thranduil: "When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, I will return to you". It was that special day. Her lovely king returned back home.
No one knows how much time they spent together, how long...but the most important that it was the love for all life of king Thranduil. And this love gave a birth to his beautiful son - Legolas.
