Concepts: how to jungle, how to gank, ganking guide - Hry
Ok look, I think its about time someone just asked this: Can you guys just make Japanese Import his own section of the channel for jungling videos? Seems like a crime against the league community at this point not to. He explains everything so well and it just sticks (at least for me personally.)
What's japanese import
@@lvl18abilities That would be the username of the challenger in the video.
Definitely, great clear cut explanations, made a huge impact on my jungling-brain. I make gameplans every game now, try to figure out the most reliable win conditions and dominate early games with great camera control for ganks. Trying to get out of low elo with that should mostly be enough, but my farming on some champs gets a bit choppy at times still though. Mostly it is just because in low elo, you have so much variety in the ability to do chain ganks. Some games have so many great ganks to take, some less but might just not have the best power farming champ then. Improving bit by bit!
To avoid all this frustration, I just don’t gank.
Why play jungle then?
@@anshulshah1703 farming without having to lane?
@@anshulshah1703 It was a joke probably.
Good Old GODYR 25 mins afk farming and then Splitpushing as Full Build
Then your lanes (in total) will be handicapped thus there's higher statistical propability that you're gonna lose. (Unless you are that bad at ganking of course)
Japanese Import is definitely underused by Skill Capped. We need more from this guy!
$$$$$
Big time.. he is so damn good at teaching and explaining it is INSANE
Agreed +1
*Insert Kylo Ren "MORE!" meme.*
This guide should be on Advanced section alognside the "How to Jungle without hating your life"
Those 2 guides made me feel an improvement after 6 months stuck in diamond
Nicee, are you hitting master soon or are you just getting that hot streak on atm :D
You can gank better by identifying the opportunities better. You do that by looking in to the layer's body language, lane status, and their skill availability and cooldown. By doing so, you find a balance between farming and ganking, increasing the success rate.
This might be true in gold and above. But in bronze, you routinely get teammates who will feed over 20 solo kills before 20 mins. Just dying, respawning, and running it down and immediately dying again. In ranked. No matter how good you play and no matter how insanely fed you get, you simply have no effect on your winrate. It's 100% determined by the algorithm.
I feel more and more attacked by those titles
Hahaha sucks to be you.
Their title game is on point! 🤣👌

Cool, two monkeys overextend 24/7 and a rek'sai kills them. Very instructive.
Other people: What, my ganks are bad?
Me: Can't have bad ganks if I don't gank.
Me, a Sion jungle player: Why does my what suck?
Just from watching a few of your videos on macro in late game, I was reacently able to cary a losing game as mid talon. I have caried once before pre lvl 30, but aside from that, it hasn't happened. And despite our team, besides me, being underleveled and having fewer items, we still won by pure macro strategy. You make good content, keep it up.
Wow, great video! I really enjoyed this player, more guides from this dude!
Last time I was this early, Hector still had dreams and hopes
could you create a vid about late game macro as a top laner/mid laner pleasee

It depends on which champ you pick.. if you pick a veigar you can t do the same things an ekko, fizz, etc could do.. it s not just which lane you play

great timing, I was about to work on my ganking since I'm terrible at it!
After a successful top gank with herald up, should I help hitting plates or should I solo the scuttle? I usually go for scuttle to try and free up a winning lane with it (Nunu)
That was such a good video

Thanks a lot for the breakdown! But my biggest problem is having to gank at the right time while also juggle farming and countering my enemy jungler. It all feels liek too much at the same time! Any help?
If you see enemy jungler ganking bot/top do something on the opposite side of the map,
In the early game don't go to enemy jungle if your nearby lanes has no priority and you could meet their jungler in that area
Farming is most important bcuz it is guaranteed, but if let's say your bot has no placed wards and sitting in the enemy half of the lane you could try protect them from gank if you are near bot and have nothing else to do
What is the champ he’s using? I’ve seen it in a lot of vids like this and looks very fun
i like the background music do you have that song ?
What if i am not playing a very early game agressive jungler like rek sai tho?
Rule of thumb JG below Diamond: Double buff/Gromp, gank, gank, gank, Recall. Gank, gank, gank, recall.
If you're doing the same clear every game enjoy playing in bronze forever.
Ngl this video really struck a cord and i noticed i never actively look for opportunities and ditched camps, to find a gank, imma save this video and watch it before i play, this video will get you out of bronze forsure
It's a nice video and the information is super useful, but it would be a bit different if their Ivern was playing the game too.
I haven't finished the video but my problem with my team is that whenever i finish my first clear or just look for a gank everyone push their lanes under tower and i really don't like to towerdive cus a lot of things can go wrong in a towerdive
Then look at which lanes the enemy jungler is most likely to gank and go there to counter. If the enemy jg was leashed by their bot, they'll likely be top at about 3 min for a gank or scuttle crab. If you have a Yas top who's hard shoving, the enemy jg will be there. Try to ambush them.
Can you make a jungle guide for what to do when your lanes lose yet they choose to push the lane ?
How would rengar works with that, you dont have a tunnel dash lvl 3 to perma camp mid
He's playing to his champion's strengths. Rengo can't do what reksai can do, but theres other things he can that reksai can't. (no examples to give because im not a rengar player but you get the idea - all champions have things they like to do and things they are good at)
@@boltstrikes429 Usually I get 2/0 until my lvl 6 on any game in gold but still, without my ult, can’t really punish errors like he did. Until that my allies can go 0/14 in 5min
@@boltstrikes429 hes a really good lane ganker since the bushes give you coverage of the whole minion line. Good at killing anyone early if he gets the jump
Does kills gives you more exp and gold than CS?
Pls do a video where u counter gank or lane gank a lot cause i have problem with these
How do I do this with other farming jg like yi or kayn, this vid is on rek sai.
Kayn is not necessarily a farming jungler. Yes you don't have hard CC unless you got red form, but your gank set up is pretty much identical to Rek Sai, and you can move around vision really easily thanks to Q and E. You duel pretty well pre 6, and at level 6 you can do dives even without a form. You pretty much want to duel as much as you can with kayn anyways, even if you don't get kills, just to get that form powerspike. Once you're red or blue you can take over the game, even with 0 kills at the time. Being ahead in gold and XP doesn't necessarily entail killing every gank. And form is basically free gold in the power that it gives.
I don't play yi so I wouldn't really know, but given the nature of the champ, you don't gotta really get ahead of the enemy, just be even, since your 2 item power spike is so strong that
you don't really need to be that ahead. But you also don't want to do nothing and not be present, since that's how you get behind. Basically, play to counter ganks and keep the enemy jg out of the game, or at least impact the map as much as they do
Aight, but what should I do if it's my team that's always overextending? I can't dive, because they're just pushing, so the enemies are pretty much full HP. I can't just farm because I'm just conflipping the game this way. Should I focus on invading enemy jungle?
You can.perform a "lane ghank" by using the alcove to sneak into a brush to counter ghank or just 2v1 or 3v2 the laners. Mid this is much more difficult
Focus on tracking your enemy jungle and counter ganking
Yea probably just have to focus on invading since you have prio in lanes. Lane ganking is good too if your lanes have heavy Cc like a thresh or renekton
Do objectives and call your idiot team to help
After seeing this video i didn´t died in the next match, so great and explained so well
these titles are becoming more and more personal man XD
not gonna lie your first example of vision, is why as an adc with a cc centered supp i get annoyed when they give away that we can see them instead of baiting the jung into use for a free 3v3 or 1v3 suprise
Everything you said here is only true in gold and above. Below that is "elo hell" where no matter how good you play and no matter how fed you get, you'll still get teammates who run it down and feed 20 solo kills before 20 mins. Your winrate has nothing to do with your skill and is 100% determined by the algorithm.
So what should have ivern done in order to stop this from happening?
"my Irelia is overextened, she probably gets lvl3ed by Reksai. because thats like the most common scenerio ever. So I (Ivern) will walk top and prevent her from Inting" ...for example. Or he could be there where his mid was inting...etc. I am not LoL expert like skillcapped, but as he ws saying in the begining...Ivern team was hard winning late game. So jsut sit back, farm camps, track reksai and countergank. If you survive 15 minutes, you autowin the game.
Ivern must match Reksai or he will lose.
This is the exact video I needed I only just now started jungling I've only played like three games and I don't know what I'm doing especially when it comes to ganking
If you are palying something like ww reksai j4 lee I reccomend you do 3 camps and go for a gank then go for crab and afterwards just clear one side into gank every time
On the other hand if you are playing something like Yi, shyvanna, Lilia, Graves. Full clear and then look for ganks all the time.
They're far from ideal plans but this will help you get started afterwards adapt your gameplans for every game and master setting up objectives
@@QuimFreecss yea i played yi and lillia. lillia is much harder cuz i have to keep her ms stacks up all the time and im just not that good mechanically yet. As well as having lack of game knowledge because ive only played league for a couple weeks
@@hasbaconinpantss9476 Yeah the ms stacks are a bit odd to manage at the beginning, usually ganking after crab it's the best so you can keep your stacks, also in ganks when you value more having your stacks up than using e to provide a more consistent slow it's a good idea to throw it early and aiming in a spot where there are minions behind the enemy champion so you are guaranteed to get your passive reset.
Also, remember with Yi you can solo baron at 3 items. Just make sure that before doing it there's no vision around the pit or if you are jumping from the blasting plant there is no vision in the bushes behind the red bush aswell. It's a good idea to do it when either team is aramming mid and pushing without caring about baron at all or if you see 3 enemies or so in bot lane.
And the biggest advice I think I can give you is just to enjoy the game and don't pressure yourself to win. You'll naturally win and improve as you get more and more knowledge and this channel has also really good tips so don't worry too much if you do bad and people flame you, mute them and keep it up. It might be a very intimidating and difficult role at the beginning but you will find great fun in it.
Even though im a wild rift player that didnt play League on pc I still find this very usefull so thx
Learning LoL can give u a massive advantage in wr
Reality: Own teammates feed before you even get lvl3, ping you and start to flame
reality: challengers still win those games
@@simeondee8179 i never said they probably wont
Yeah, now imagine botlane is feeding and flaming, midlane kassadin tries to fight the enemy AD assassin at level 4 while you gank top, and your toplaner goes into irelia with 5 stacks while you gank mid.
That has happened. And their jungler didnt gank at all. Your skill as jg does nothing, despite what anyone says, even if youre winning and can 1v1 anyone, even the fed enemy mid/top/jg/adc, doesnt matter.
@@ericroberts5321 yep, I guess the hundreds of challenger jungle mains who have 100% winrate in your elo must get lucky every single game. Definitely everybody is just talking out of their ass and the only one who truly understands this game is you bronze ass.

And some people from low elo can win most of their ranked games, but then lose because the enemy team has smurfs. Sometimes 1 challenger smurf, or otherwise diamond premade smurfs.. Now that's really annoying to deal with !
What about the junglers that usually have to full clear untill 6?
dude, reksai is literally the best ganking jungler..maybe you can argue elise or zac. Try to do this on Rengar or Karthus.
I had a team where they all died 2-3 times before 6min and i was Shyvana (a jungler that without R is not as strong as others) , after 8 min they all started to take my camps whenever they spawn , even when i was fighting one they would come to take what they can leaving their lanes in God's mercy. They managed to make me fall behind even tho i had 7/1/2 at 10min mark. At the end of the game looking at the graphs i had killed 90 monsters in team jg while my team had a total of 150.
Imagine if the enemy team is your team how can you gank their laners if they perma push the waves?
Lane ganks and dives, counterganks
Yeah I love these videos where your laners actuall try to help you when in reality it isnt like that
This person definitely hasn't seen my games. I'm not perfect, but I'm playing the best Hecarim games of my life, getting insanely fed every game, and getting my laners fed. But every game 10 games in a row, I'm getting turbo-feeding lanes that feed 15 or 20 kills in a row. They're not even dying from jungle ganks. They're just running it down and dying 1v1 or 2v2. I don't think it's cocky to say that even the best jungler in the world couldn't carry my last 10 games.
I wish CasuallyExplained would do "Causally Explained: Ganking as a Jungler" I would die laughing.
What do I do when my teammates hard push their lanes constantly and I can never gank?

My bot has already 0/4 before i even clear 3 camps in almost every game.... i almost always finish the game being the best of my team but many times i still lose thx to my botlane inting hard.... how am i suppose to to turn the game when the enemy adc can 1v3 or 1v4 if they are playing samira in 10 minutes in the game????????
Thanks for the guide. It actually is helpful, but since you said you haven't lost a single game below platinum for 5 months, I checked your account.
This is a 50% wr over 280 games account, gold 1. So, are you lying or account sharing?
He must be account sharing. If he had won every game for five months straight he would have reached more than platinum, therefore there must be someone who "balances" the elo for him.
Most likely to allow the wins to keep happening, he needs to lose some games intentionally, so he can keep smurfing on the same account.
I'm guessing he shares multiple Platinum and below accounts. This account only has one good game which is this Rek'Sai one.
so riot introduced smurf queue a while back, any account i actually own / play on will be instantly put into diamond + games and we cant demonstrate low elo games. skillcapped doesnt provide us with accounts, its on us to figure out how to do it. im sure you can put 2 and 2 together but im rarely on the same ign ever if that helps

Hey. That was MY Ivern game. I knew something was up 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
What much junglers dont do is help their laners, but not just with ganks. For example, I usually go on mid if my mid laner is loosing. I just stand there, poking enemy, so he can farm safely and get that cannon. If it is the opportunity, I instead gank.
Maybe something thay could help... is to not smurf and make gameplay very negative for beginner on the other side. How about that?

You showed some great general tips, but no answer to the questions you asked yourself in the beginning: what to do when the enemies simply don't overextend and play safe under tower, while your own team pushes and then gets picked up by the enemy Jungler for free?
Thats the majority of my games in lower Gold
They will probably tell you if u are at the same side of the map u can try to counter gank if u can win the 2 vs 2 if u cant win the 2 vs 2 but u can win the 1 vs 1 agaisnt the enemy jungler try to kill him or just push him from his camp and take it but if both scenario arent doable just farm u dont have much to do
if u are at the oposite side u can try to take the enemy jungle (try to keep 1 wolf , 1 raptor or the first middle golem so the camp dont reset ) or take objective
counter the ganks or invade. if you have all pushing lanes you can run into enemy jungle for free and stop the problem at the source. most people take lanes that are pushing as lanes to ignore. but you need to use them
Thanks for your replies, but I would like to see this is more depth. Like... How I was hoping for after the introduction in this video :)
@@gamerryu The point is that you'll rarely have games where all 3 lanes are constantly pushing. If you really FEEL that way, then what he said in the video about missing opportunities 100% applies to you and you should pay more attention to your laners.

This is all well and good, but you're playing rek'sai. There's a lot of champions that struggle to chain gank like this or. champions that don't have guaranteed cc. Good information, but it looks easy for you because it is easier for your champion.
I came to this video becuase I'm in bronze and I was playing vs Teemo top right. He took Ignite and TP. I was like, ok, this guy is ruined, he's trolling by not taking flash... right?
LMAO but evne though I said to my jungler "free gank top he didnt take flash" he ran in and tried to towerdive the teemo alone, giving him doubble buffs and a full level lead on me... he never came top after that, the teemo was constantly pushed up at my tower in top and the worst part is that the jungler blamed me for "Not helping" when he straight up just ran in undert tower, with no minion wave and I was not able to reach the teemo in time. He could've easily just walked away but no.
These moments really makes me so raged and its hard to focuse :( what to do in those siutation?

If they would be like these guys i would have hit plat ez but this doesent heappen
If I gank even once, they immediately play safer and are less aggressiveSo i guess you are 100% right in my opinion but if they dont do this and your hole team does push in so you have no chance to gank, you cant gank. and if you try to play for drake they wann ignore it and the enemy moves immediatly towards you when you scout a ward or sth like this (while your team decides to farm and dont listen to the pings or msg)
i hoped to find some information to go over this but i guess i cant find it here :C

Actually what wouldve been more interesting is what ivern shouldve done in this game. Youre a strong ganking jungler with reksai, but ivern is not. His irelia and yone are stupidly overextending and keep on doing it even after you gank. Thats the biggest problem I have in plat elo right now.
Pro tip: if you suck at ganking play karthus and once you are 6 kaboom a kill for you
My only problem is I either play fixed camera or I don't know where my champion is lol
Practice.
so i dont really believe that there is no difference between the teams we complain about and smurfs team´s the proof of that is that, in my smurf its taking me around 15/20 games to get to gold, while i needed 300 games or more on my main one because of the MMR system, not only that but i constantly have to deal with inters in my main account, while on my smurf i only get 1 every 5 games
My problem with my laners when i jungle:
-I pick a scaling jungle, they know it's a scaling jungle, at lvl4 they ping me
-they shave in hard, then bitch i don't gank
-they shove in hard, then bitch enemy ganks them nonstop.
-0 wards to gather information, 0 pings to know if enemy has wards, 0 pink wards
yes, i'm silver
My main problem is just that it feels like my laners are constantly pushing the enemys under tower making it super easy for the enemy jungler to gank them because they are overextending and then blame me for not matching the enemy junglers ganks..
Counterganking is sometimes the play :)
Counterdiving losing lanes as well
@@NLperso yeah, try to counter dive when you are playing on the "red team", doing your gromp, and my moron juggernaut toplaner gets dove by a mage jungler and a splitpusher toplaner when hes supposed to 1v2 them even when not under tower.
