This is so amazing! I grew up in a small town outside Chicago that was majority Polish. I have no Polish heritage, but it was so cool growing up with the traditions of my classmates. I know how to sing 'Happy Birthday' in Polish because we would always sing it when it was somebody's birthday. And I grew up eating paczki every Fat Tuesday! I moved to Nashville and most people here couldn't even tell you where Poland is on a map. I miss this culture so much!

Hello Itsewelina watching this lesson drove me to raid the refrigerator. But my favorite that i used to help my Mom make was "Baka" Egg Bread I would need the doe for her and let it rise 3 time she then would bake it in the over and when it came out we waited till it was still warm spread fresh butter on it and with a glass of milk my Dad and I would eat at lease half of it. I have to try to make it myself. You just can't find Polish food in my section of Arizona. I do miss all that great Polish food. But Beet Soup I just did not like don't like beets.
