Piccolo is solely responsible for an entire generation of saiyans - that's "doing shit".
Piccolo being "upstaged" by his pupil(s) makes him vastly more happy than having to do it himself. If you cant accept that, then grow up.
@@nivyan I enjoyed Piccoloâs interactions with Goten and Trunks in the Buu saga, he was an excellent tactician throughout the Super Buu arc. I also enjoyed his interactions with Pan, yeah.
But thatâs not what I was talking about. I mean significant wins for Piccolo himself. Yes, whenever his pupils succeed, that validates Piccolo, but thatâs honestly become a rarity these days. Gotenks hasnât done anything besides embarrass himself throughout Super, Pan just now became a character, and Gohan only gets involved with combat if he absolutely has to, as was shown in Super Hero.
Piccolo himself has been constantly training and improving himself. Does he not deserve to see results for that hard work? Itâs frustrating seeing the writers continuously finding ways to sideline him in favor of the thousandth Goku/Vegeta W. Same thing goes for characters such as Tien and Goten/Trunks. The series attempts to push the message that hard work pays off, but anyone who isnât a saiyan apparently isnât included in that mantra.
- He (for some reason) decides to bum rush Beerus despite proving himself able to buy time in the Buu Saga.
- He and Gohan get utterly embarrassed in Resurrection F.
- He gives up against Frost.
- He gets eliminated by a nobody in the Tournament of Power.
Only recently does it seem that his character has had a resurgence, with his supporting role in Broly and his leading role in Super Hero.
Look, he raised Gohan.
I bet Piccolo woulda beat him, if he hadn't cheated.

As I recall Frost was stronger than Piccolo, but Piccolo used his intellect to outmaneuver him and charge his attack. Used copies at first and then wrapped him up like that to get an easy hit.

Itâs hard to evaluate Frostâs power. Heâs certainly weaker than Goku and Vegeta, but stronger than Piccolo. Heâs probably somewhere in the range or Android 16 to Perfect Cell at most.

Frost made vegeta sick, because, a Universe 6's version of Frieza, one woud expect him to be a bit more straightforward, and Vegeta knows that Frieza wouldnt need to resort to such methods...frieza would prefer to just, y'know, hit you with a very lethal energy beam, or some overly explosive energy blast, not rely on a surprisigly quick acting poison to eliminate opponents

NGL I wish we could get a restart of Super (from the new content - not the movies for a third time) with the actual care and time it deserves. Its really hard to go back and see how terrible this was due to how Toei rushed it with an insanely short pre-production schedule.

I did feel bad for Piccolo since he wasn't able to keep his win. Though I guess Vegeta avenged him. At least now with his Orange form, it's a more even playing field between the two.
So, I just watched this episode the other day, and I'm pretty sure Goku was fighting Frost and then got stung by Frost - I'm now past the episode Vegeta has fought against the mecha lava boy.
Can someone explain what am I missing here, because I'm yet to see Picollo to fight any of the 6vs7 universe fights.

I'm thinknig Vegeta is giving off the vibe in base form of being stronger than Namek Freiza, while Frost gives off more of the impression of being at Vegeta Namek level.

I don't see how. Golden Frieza was able to withstand and compress the hakai of an actual god of destruction. Ego Vegeta doesn't even remotely outclass Frieza in the same way.
I hate how weak they made piccolo in super. Dbz super namek piccolo was waay stronger then a super saiyan and would have wiped the floor with frost. But in super hes not even as strong as someone who seems weaker then namek saga friieza tf. Even universe 6 saiyans that haven't even learned ssj yet are stronger then him in super its nonsense

@@popdog165 The rules were that you couldn't bring any weapons into the ring and you couldn't kill the opponent. Frost did neither. Sure he used his poison stinger but that is a natural part of his body, so while using it is dickish, it should be allowed.

You don't pay attention. It was NOT a part of his body and in the original translation, the referee states evidence is present of Frost being modified. Frost has the exact same physiology as Frieza.
