When i was used to play CSGO, i only use the game's default sensitivity with 400DPI, because CSGO's default sensitivity were already perfect for me and i can get to faceit lv 4 and LEM with that sensitivity but it's a different story for valorant
Love the guide also the Naofumi & Raphtalia wallpaper xD
Daiymn, I needed this.
Its not about what pros are using its about what your comfortable with remember always prioritize what you need to grow as a player than what you want
My edpi was 800 I think I'm still going to lower it lmao
@@katt2064 mines 500 dpi and i still cant believe people play with 200 dpi
@@SamAx. i play 1600cps
Yeah but it still helps to know that I’m a moron for being at 1200 eDPI

And here is me playing with 3.21 sens
Aaaaand which elo do you play in? Would be interesting! :D
Andd 400 dpi :D
I play on 0.3 but I look like I have a very high sens since I move my mouse a lot.
i have 1.8 sens and my rank is platinim, its comfortable

Great vid, quick to the point and informative
How can you have TenZ’s sensitivity when he changes it every hour?
Really?
@@mohdhussain5067 He changes around often, but not actually everyday lmao

Y’all really believe it
Literally was changing sensi everyday very much needed video thanks
Damn man smh
Me who lowered their sens and though it was very slow at 1500 edpi
Thanks a lot, appreciate it 👍🏿🙏🏿💯
This video is very well made and very helpful thanks
5:40 if you wanna change the typo on the chart! very informative. I am sitting at eDPI 258 and have been feeling the need to go a little lower so now it feels a little justified lol
I play on tenz and its pretty easy to adapt because i have a big mouse
Can you share your source for native dpis not being higher than 800 or 1600? Thanks
I run 700 dpi and 0.3 in game with a gpro x and i think that it's pretty good midway for low and high sensitivity
I'd say most of new and unexperienced players tend to use their wrist more with really high sens (as I did when I switched to PC )
Extremely experienced with PC, not a pro, but I've played many different fps games for many years, and for some reason, high sens is way better for me
I play on 1200 mouse DPI and 2 ingame coz of rough wood so exactly here I comes to know that 1st I should buy a mouse pad😂
Same
Samee 😂
I used to play on a similar sensitivity aswell, rn i play on 1250 edpi
I just got my pc and my 1200 dpi is comfortable and I can use it on r6 but I’m always getting told to change my settings and dpi what’s ur settings and how high in ranking where you able to get with 1200 dpi
if you want a cheapest option than a mousepad, you can buy one A2 EVA foam, i have one and i have a lot of space for my mouse.
i'm using 1000 DPI (cheap mouse) x 0.8 sens (Csgo) = 800 Edpi for cs
800 Edpi (Csgo) x 0.314 (valorant multiplier) = 251,2 edpi on valorant or 0,251 sens on valorant.
yes i maked a big text...
i tried 400 dpi instead of 800 and switched to .38 from .19 , idk how but my aim got like way better
Im using 296 eDPI, I reccomend this for vererans and new players as it is the sweet spot
I upgraded from an office mouse with 1.8 in game dpi to a logitech 1800 dpi mouse and my ingame dpi is 700-1000 and I'm still transitioning
4:39
Me who always gets shot in the back:
👁️👄👁️
lmao especially in haven
That's why my eDPI is at 840
I always felt like there was "something off" with my aim no matter how many hours I trained.. I've trained countless hours ever since I got my PC recently and I'm pretty quick to learn, but I just felt like I wasn't improving or was ever consistent.
It's crazy how one setting.. ONE setting broke that barrier and now I feel like I entered a new form lmfaoo
*Turning Enhance Pointer Precision Off*
Thank you for this amazing video, now I can hopefully look decent in my next montage XD
Valorant takes raw input from the mouse, so changing that setting actually doesn't change anything ingame
@@allens7804 good to know! You made me do some research. I noticed a big difference in Cold War though, I’ve yet to try other FPS games but I’m not sure if most games ignore the Windows mouse acceleration settings like how Valorant does.
@@itschanfoo Ah sorry for the confusion! I thought you were only playing Valorant so I assumed it was just a mental barrier. How are you enjoying Cold War so far?
@@allens7804 it's all good bro lol I also play on 100 ping so everything feels slow regardless. Cold war is alright, matchmaking is bad but I'm still enjoying Warzone
I play at 300 edpi on a 60x40 pad. It doesn't feel bad so I'm not changing it, even tho i would love to try something else
I can't do anything under 1600 dpi with a .36 sens in game, and that seems to be slower than most high flicky people. Anything lower just -drags- for me.
To be honest to improve , have a friend who is immortal and vod. Also don't always fiddle with your settings . Human body are adjustable to the changes , but we need the muscle memory . And it can only be achieved via playing and playing. Always remeber you are not a bad player , it's just a bad game .
Here's the thing, I think my smol hands make me better with high sensi since i can control more miniscule movements due to the small size of my hands. I tried "pro" average edpi and it made me play badly for the past year. The week I made it much higher, I'm shooting headshots only kills as opposed to no kills at all xD my arm cramps with low sensi and i tried for a year it just didn't work for me
What's your dpi and ingame sensitivity.😁🙏
I have smaller hands too, I just recently purchased the razor orochi v2 mouse and it works great for small to medium hands, you should try it out
Btw, high sensitivity aimers don't always use just their wrist or more wrist than arm, it really comes down to the player's preference, like breehzy from EG(CS:GO), this guy play on high sens, while remaining mostly an arm aimerm
I used to use 336 edpi but it was very low for me ...so now I use 496epdi
very insightful video thanks
Bro i added it up and exactly got 269 edpi and it actually feels nice i have a Logitech g502 hero with 650 dpi and 0.415 sens try it out! 🤩
I could be wrong, but doesn’t the Mouse Properties setting for mouse speed not effect your in game speed if raw input is enabled?
nope it does not because raw input takes input directly from the mouse
I dont know, mabye its cuz the better mouse. When i use low sens, i cant move the mouse fast enoguh, But when i use high sens, i have to use a lot more effort to keep the mouse in place and not moving away. i dont really know, i just use like .650
bruh exactly same
ME WITH 900 DPI. i forgot what was my dpi before changing but it was up in 1000+. 800 feels way too slow for me... now i can actually one tap people lol.
i'm using a regular square mousepad in a tiny ass desk with limited movement. i don't have the typical pc set up. i also play on gaming laptop haha
I had a edpi of 3200, but with this vídeo, i decided change for 960 dpi :v, it's good if i am a wrist gamer mayority?
I have unclicked mouse acceleration yet i can feel it in the game
Me with 2.5 sensitivity: 🧍🏻♀️
0.245 for me 😭✋
0.674 800dpi
1 sens and 1500 dpi and I used to play 2400
The same xD
What dpi
all this time i thought i had an 800 dpi mouse so i set it to become 360 edpi which is .45 ig sens. turns out it was a 1000 dpi mouse. yea i couldn't kill anyone
Can I say that in total there are 3 settings that would affect the speed?
1. mouse dpi
2. sensitivity: aim from the game
3. pointer speed from the mouse properties?
What about the cursor speed of the mouse itself? (from pc setting)
Put pointer speed in 6 mouse dpi should be 800 or 1000
Sens is what you need to get
I like how there’s two 200-300 dpi at 5:44
I'm a diamond player with 1875 edpi (1500dpi x 1.25 in game) and I actually feel very good about it. When I was improving my aim at first, I used to stress my wrist a lot but with time, I let it loose a little bit more and as of it now, I always average 15-25 in hard shooting range. The only real disadvantage that I struggle with is in long range duels and mouse precision since sometimes I don't know if the one that failed was me or the sensor. But since I'm not pushing for radiant or anything I'm very ok with that sens.
Also I cannot stress how important is not stressing your wrist if you're running an extreme DPI sens, I always have it veeeeeryyy relaxed and all I do is just micro adjustments by pushing the mouse with the thumb or moving slightly my wrist, also the posture helps a lot since I have almost my whole arm on the table.
I used to do the same, strongly recommend lowering it to around 600, especially if you’re used to the “higher end” sensitivity . You never want to tense up your wrist to make the small adjustments, especially since you can cause it to be really shaky. I’m currently on 600 but thinking on going lower, still need to test out some longer range engagements though and see how it feels
I use 1000 dpi gaming mouse with 3.004 in game sens
please make a updated video of this. i want to know majority radiant sens
I have a mouse at my house already (not gaming mouse) and its dpi is 1600, which is quite high according to you. So shall I proceed using this mouse or buy another mouse with a lower dpi.
i use logitech program for dpi but there is also windows 10 default dpi thing there too from 1 to 10... How its affect the mouse speed?
Im on 800 dpi and 0.48 in game sens . But i adjust it to 0.5 or 0.45 depending on my perdormance in a particular day
Same . What rank are you
I have a 30cm mousepad (11.8 inches).. I want to use a ~320 eDPI but there is no way I can do a 360. I barely do over 200 degree rotation. I think it is ok even with a smaller mousepad, you don't need to do a 360 often, usually just a 180
You don’t really need more than 180 since you be dead before being able to do a full 360

I cant tell if it's too high
i like to play with high sens, i run 0.4 with 800 dpi but I'm afraid of getting carpal tunnel
People watch the Vaxxe ZYGEN NP-01. That mouse is really the best of 2020, Razer Viper too, i got the deathadder V2 but... 106g vs 62g i'll go for viper now.
I play at 124 eDPI, i wish i could increase it, but I'm always overcomiting with my moves when I do so
Lol my eDPI was 2700
thanks for the video :^)
Whoa....
How did you even aim???
There will be 8000 hz mouse out later this years.
I found out that playing with jett needs to increase the sensitivity.
1200dpi, 0.5 in game... should i reduce it more ?? I am uaing it for 3 months and I have become familiar with it and I can hit flick shots with it
this was helpful, my sens is 445 edpi.
I think i know know why i was whiffing all my games until now i had a dpi 1600 and a sens 0.400
I have 800 dpi and 0.5 sens. Maybe a little bit to low. Because i cannot make a complete 360 round. Is this a problem?
4:42 he’s so good he even killed omen lol
For Valorant I got 627 EDPI but it feels comfortable enough I suppose (it really doesn't feel that high for me at all" I can't lower it anymore cause table space. I don't know if I should stick with this same sensitivity for Aim Lab seems how every other pro player is literally a little over half of the EDPI that I have in Valorant. Is 627 EDPI in Valorant really considered "too high"? and if so should I change it? I kinda want to stick with this but I know they say high sensitivity gives worst consistent aiming.
You should do whatever makes you comfortable. For me, I have 600 right now which is on the “higher” side. Sometimes in aim lab I make it a little higher because idk how accurate the conversions are and whatever.
For me, I used to play on really high sens because I never had a good mouse or mouse pad, but yeah I also thought that the 200-400 range was really low.
However, when I switched from probably around 1200 to 600 edpi, my aimlabs scores skyrocketed and I got used to using my arm and wrist together in about a week. Still working on it but it’s starting to feel good
I've always plays at a roughly 1680 eDpi it's very strange for me to play at 480 eDpi
280 is the average edpi and holy shit mine is so low with 136
I' was playing 1600 dpi at .9 sensitivity my friend said that was high now I'm at 1600 at .45 is that still just way to fast ?
I’m on 0.45 400 dpi and I’m diamond 2 rn and can top frag. However, I want a higher sens but I’m really choppy and not as smooth. I really like not having to move my arm but it’s hard to switch to a higher sens. I use wrist but depending on the distance I use my arm for flicks. What should I do
same here 400dpi 0.51 i Change it to 0.52 sometimes and its a big difference for me tho it feels good but not that smooth
I play 1600 dpi with 0.22 sens.. Idk how you can play with such a slow sens xD. I reckon you just up your sens a very tiny bit play with it until ure comfortable and up it again and keep that going until ure used to a higher sens
Try bumping up your eDPI. You're currently sitting at 180, maybe try 200 or for me 240 is my sweet spot.
Just realized Im playing in windows sens 5 and mouse acceleration on, I adjusted it to windows sens 6 and turned off my mouse accelerarion, my ingame aim feels smoother but the difference is that not significant, my mouse feels faster when buying but my aim still feels the same like before
Playing on an 280edpi btw, thanks for the vid
because even if mouse accel is on valorant doesnt detect it
@@cautionthelotion Thanks for clarifying that, does windows sens affects ingame sens as well?
@@rvvarunanasarias9516 that i dont know about
How can ı look e dpi ?
wait what was the point of getting our 360 sensitivity? is that the sense we should play with?
i use 1300 dpi, .413 in game sens, 1.0 multiplier
Man do what works for you and don't give up after 1 week of trying a DPI. If you have shoulder issues your future is probably wrist aiming, if you simply just aren't getting the hang of arm aiming then go back to wrist and perfect it. You will see a trend of pros moving towards higher DPI imo. There's major advantages to wrist aiming if you can control it.
I've been using 140 eDPI (700dpi, 0.2 sensitivity) in like every game for years now, and never realized it was that low up until now lol
Mine is 1200 eDPI🤾🏽♂️. I really thought that I am on the slow end ...
How can i look e dpi ?
@@fight4354 ingame sens x dpi
The higher the dpi doesn't make it less consistent, its literally more updates per second and less input lag. Look it up
I have a 13.5 x 9.5 inch mouse pad and currently at 360 edpi, should I make my edpi higher?
I might have the lowest edpi. I use 400 dpi and 6 percent
6 percent of 0.6

I have a mouse dpi of 600 and an ingame sensi of 0.5.My edpi is 300
how to know edpi of 17500 dpi it says it is 0.02 ingame but clearly isnt try 1k dpi at 0.35 which is meant to be identical epi it feels more the same at 0.035 but all these online calculators say its not that
why am i used to such a faster sens than all the pros? I've got a 1600 dpi with a 0.7 ingame sens and going any lower than that makes my aim way too slow for me
Wtf i just realised pros play with so luow sensitivities and here I'm with 2.something
I have my sensitivity on .5 and I can barely even turn around for a 180. 800dpi btw
Im on 1200 dpi and 0.82 in valorant
If i multipl. this im at 984
Hmm im still using 3k dpi cause i lack of space on my setup so entire my life i use high dpi and when i change my dpi to low i almost forget that i user lower dpi
I use 1000 DPI and 1.1 sensivity and I have decent aim. Use what you're used to be as long as you don't have massive eDPI. It's all about personal preference.
oh you must struggle hard long range. that’s a terrible edpi, there’s a reason there’s no pros over 600 😂
I use almost everything the video tells me not. I have a tiny mouse pad. 1600 0.25 Tiny mousepad. And just got used to how to deal with the restrictions. Neither your gear nor your sense is holding you back. Its you. Playing a game where you have to change whats comfortable to do whatever the pros are doing isnt worth the loss of progress you might've attained from precious settings. I used 1600 is csgo and theres no way im dropping it.
That’s still pretty low though, 400 edpi…..
I thought more dpi= more accurate aim, so set my dpi to 3200. and am still in Iron 2.
U need low sensitivity for valorant
Same bro same
800 dpi is good if you don’t really do quick turns or checking corners.
I have 7 inches of mouse pad and play on 0.9 and 800 dpi.i m not good at the game till now
Haha i have same sens brother.
Can someone recommend a good mouse that has an adjustable dpi. I can adjust the dpi on my current mouse but I don’t get an exact number so I don’t know what I’m running
I have a question someone please answer. Is 0.295x1400dpi=413 edpi same as 0.413x1000dpi=413 edpi. So will the mouse sensitivity be same in both cases?
Both are same, as long your edpi are same and your mouse acceleration is turned off
My eDPI is 1600*1.532 = 2451. Maybe it's slightly high 🙂.
people who use mouse acceleration: I am 4 parrallel universes ahead of you
Where can you find the dpi your mouse has when you already have it for some time
In the software
I have 0.37 with a 1200 dpi. The lowest i Ever had! I feel so slow
I'm using 1,600 dpi with .45 in-game sensitivity. Is this bad? By the way, I'm playing using 720p resolution. Not a fan of playing 1080p.
You shouldn't actually use 400 or lower dpi as mice have significantly higher input lags the lower you go. Today's sensors do 10k+ dpi easily so you should be golden with 1600, after that the diminishing returns peak
When u blinded by Phoenix
1200 DPI * 0.42 in-game sens = 504 eDPI.
I use 958 edpi 800 dpi and 1.19 in game sense
So i play with 800 dpi mouse and 5.187 ingame is that ok?
Do not use edpi instead use cm/360 as it’s universal and not just for use in the one game
How does this work? Is it like starting the mouse on one side, and seeing how far it is to do a 360? I feel like I answered my own question but lol, always wondered
@@vog- yea its the specific cm it take for your mouse to do a 360, but dont worry you dont have to measure it physically, they have converters online
