Bruh Garnt started talking like an NPC
Dude.. How dare you. I kinda agree
They all sound like NPCs
I think that's because Thai is a tonal language.
A main npc though. They're the one giving the quest for the main story
Garnt summoned the Ayutthayan skinny white mammoth
Connor:
Summoning a Gaelic Forest Spirit
Garnt:
Calling an Austrenesian Sea Guardian
Joey:
Unsealing a Shinto Fox God
Welsh isn't gaelic
Welsh is Brittonic Irish and Scottish are Gaelic
Welsh isn't Gaelic and Thai isn't Austronesian.
@@troll3332 but britonic and Gaelic are both celtic right?
thai aren't Austronesian, they are distinct people on their own called Tai-Kadai. Austronesian are like their neighbours Malaysia
now I wanna see full Trash Taste episode with boys only speaking Japanese, Welsh and Thai without the others knowing what's the topic and just going with the flow of conversation
Trash Taste: Chaos addition.
That sounds like an after dark concept instead of an actual episode
That's gonna be so fucking unwatchable... Anyways, when is it coming out?
Tekken 8(2023)
At some point they’d just all start speaking Japanese I feel
A Thai man, a Welsh man and a Japanese man walk into a bar……..
....and we get Trash Taste
The Thai man orders a spicy cocktail, the Welsh man asks for a "leek-y" drink, and the Japanese man requests sake. The bartender looks puzzled and says, "Is this a global punchline or just an international mix-up?"
There is no punchline, they literally just went for a drink.

@White Death india?
Bro Garnt still got that Thai accent in him
It's not perfect as some of the tones are off to a native person, but generally it's pretty good
I mean still thats impressive
Thai here! His accent sounds nearly perfect, there are some weird sounds here and there and I'm not sure if it's just how he sounds in Thai but overall he's like a native (which he is). Although the tone low key sounds like a monk chanting.
@@Mika.mizuki "Although the tone low key sounds like a monk chanting."
Hmmm, I wonder why :P
@@Rahul__SingH369 Yeah of course it is, to a non-native just about anything will sound good, meanwhile his actually is decent, however, native's can hear the difference. So as a non-native like yourself, commenting on it is kinda redundant don't you think?
The way that us Thai folk remember the full name of Thailand is through a song. The way that Garnt says the name, you can kind of tell when it kicks in haha
we start singing along the tunes lolol. i believe all thai students had this for like a part of their exams or smthing

Bro 555555
as a Welsh Speaker there's a lil accent in there
Be honest, would you still buy it?

@@alexberry2461 Okay I gotta ask, totally random question but is "au" in Welsh pronounced like the English "ow" or "aye?" I've heard both.
Gotta see them go on a rant in their respective native languages
That'd be pretty entertaining.

As an Indian, Thai just sounds like Sanskrit to me.
yes, so basically there actually a lot of thai words borrowed from Sansakrit
It's basically Sanskrit and Pali remix
Yeah it comes from Sanskrit and Pali
Yes, Thai is a cocktail language we mixed everything and some how it make sense.
it's a mix of Native Thai, Khmer, Sanskrit, Pali and maybe some more I dont even know anymore xd

It's so cool how you sounded like a totally different person when you use other languages
I mean I guess if you’re monolingual 😅
That's actually not false. When you speak in different language, you also think and adapt the behavior of that culture too and even tone and manners change.
So yes , technically you became a different person.
Source: I speak 3-4 language
@@chanchaiken5522 That's sick, what languages do you speak?
I'm proficient in German (mother's tongue) and English (C2 according to Cambridge) and I noticed it too; I'm much more outgoing and kinda straight-to-the-point when I'm using English.
@@chanchaiken5522 its weird. Im bilingual, english and spanish, and pretty well versed in both, though I use english in my daily life. however when I speak spanish to my relatives and switch to english briefly, I adopt an accent? It just sounds more right to pronounce my english words in a “spanish tone” if that makes sense. People have also said my voice gets deeper and I sound like I speak faster in spanish. idk how it works but it just happens. I find myself spitting sentences out much quicker in spanish than in english.
@@chanchaiken5522 well apparently you’re not changing your voice exactly. Each language requires different vocal chords which make it sound like you’re a different person.
I speak 2 other languages and I view English as my “middle voiced language” with the other two languages pitches being of higher and lower from English.
I'm curious, what even is Joey's "native language"? He's half Aussie and half Japanese and was raised in Australia iirc. He was taught Japanese by his mother when he was young, too
He has 2 native languages, English & Japanese
English is a bit firster.
Remember he said that in his childhood his mom trained him into using japanese too by.... Not talking to him until he says that in japanese?
That implies that he either had some troubles with it in his early years or there were so many english speakers instead of both that he was at risk at almost skipping the moon speech.
He has two native languages, it's quite common if you live with your parents who speak your traditional language but everything around you operates in another language like in previous colonies for example in India, Pakistan, Kazakhstan and etc
He is not half Aussie, he was just born there
@@valvaraad No his father is fully Australian he's half and half
fuck man. now that i watch them enough to learn so much english, my native get much much worse.
same lol
Aren't we all
My first language is english, and I'm learning my native language in high school cuz language barrier and holy shit my english skills went non existent, and I'm like a grade 1 student in my native language so that doesn't help omg
Yep. With every passing year, doing everything online in English slays a bit more of my native tongue. And I'm fine with that.
You need to progress in the english and native tree line or your bilingual build wint work properly, luckily from my experience putting points in third or fourth language trees arent as hefty compared to your main ones
The Boys should be proud of flexing their Native Language muscles. I originally didn't know Joey was half-Japanese until I read his wikipedia profile. Just like with Garnt, I didn't know he was born in Thailand until wikipedia. There was a special that the boys did when I discovered that Wales has its own language. My jaw dropped whne I heard Connor speaking Welsh.
Well, that’s the outcome the English wanted when they banned it. The plan was for the native British language to die out in hopes of making people believe that the English language was British.

One word: EPIC
I'm so envious of people who speak multiple languages 😭
I'm Korean and Breizh, but I only speak English and limited French. But basically all of my friends speak 2-3 languages. Being third generation has its perks, being raised multilingual is not one of them.
How are you Korean but you don't speak Korean? You mean you're American?
@bb there are nationalities, ethnicities, and cultural identities my friend. I am referring to my ethnic identity in the comment, as well as (to an extent) cultural.
@@bbhybris How are you so cringe?
@@gwenethp511 completely understood. Just bizarre that Americans expect the world to know their meaning. But yes, I'm ethnically Breizh and ethnically Korean, although I'm a US citizen and resident. I'm also a French citizen!
