That's why we call them mighty Windies......
What a wonderful team & how well they played the game with utmost honesty & spirit.
Although I am an Indian, I Love Windies.
Love from India.
I attended this game on Monday 16th January 1989 The West Indies were far too good for Australia but I did enjoy the day & night
wonderful commentary by Bill Lawry ..
Finally someone has posted one of the games where Aussie lost. Good on you! Normally the ones where they win are the only ones posted
Just look at almost any Australia v West Indies match from the 1980s and you will find that Australia lost.
@@darrenmiles-morland8038 West indies held the upper edge over all teams till 1991 when vivian retired.
The first 1 dayer I went to as a 7 year old. I remember seeing Sir Viv smash us around the park.
Oh that's great, are you fond of cricket ???
Us?
is there any chance that you have the first final from this season? The one where Australia won by 2 runs at the MCG
Walsh at his early age was just ordinary one
West indies amazing
I think I may, but it will take time to edit and all that...
Merv 4 wickets and a run out would normally be man of the match
True but his 4 wickets came after the Windies had already sealed the match, so they really did not make much difference to the score or outcome.
Players from the losing team very rarely if ever get the player of the match award.
West super
Quite weak to bowl with yr cap on.
"FIXED MATCH."
