Great video! Easy to follow along with! It's always fun & exciting to me to see someone talk about something with such extensive knowledge. Like, you don't even need to look it up online. You were there as the TCG grew so you were part of history in the making. And as such, you have very personal knowledge of it and can whip out trivia on the spot. Awesome!

Seems to be the biggest issue for a lot of people. I'm struggling to find places that play nearby :(
Just got myself and my roommate into the game. Grabbed the Fai and Dromai starters and we really enjoyed it. So I got a box of Uprising and a boz of WTR. Got enough stuff to upgrade our decks AND build playable Blitz decks for Dorinthea and Iyslander. It's been a great time!

I played my first game of this on Sunday, wild that this video came out literally a day or two afterwards! I have a Prism blitz deck which has AWESOME looking artwork and some of the players at my FLGS are going to hook me up with some bulk so I can get deck building ASAP.

One thing that’s a pain where I am (Melbourne-AU) is that the LGSs don’t run Blitz as a regular format. Classic constructed and draft seem to overpower the of formats… Anyway, thanks for your amazing content! Cheers

I've been checking out this game for a while now and I think I'm ready to dive in.
I love opening packs and just discovering what I have and I love the F&B foils so I think that even though everyone recommends blitz packs I'm going to grab some booster packs instead.

I tried to get one of those Ira decks. The LGS said that LLS told them they could only give them out during a starter event. That bummed me out a little bit, but I got a hold of a few blitz decks to play with a friend.
Thanks for the video! I heard about flesh and blood a week ago and I've been watching so many videos on it haha. I'm going to a night at my lgs on Sunday and planning on picking up some cards! After watching this I'm learning towards a box of dynasty and a box of uprising and seeing where I end up from there! Maybe a dromai blitz deck because she seems like fun. Would you say that's a good place to start with the new set coming out only having one hero who seems quite tough go build a deck for? Would you recommend even buying a box of dynasty? I want to make sure I'm positioned well enough to have some fun!
Dynasty is the same at the other supplemental/expansion sets that I mention in this video - it's good support for EVERY class but no real focus on any - EXCEPT the new Assassin class. So unless you want assassin specifically I'd go with something like Uprising (Dromai/Fai/Iyslander) :D

Hey Red Zone Rouge, love your content. How do I build off a Blitz Oldhim Deck? I love the idea of being a Nordic guardian , and really want to build my first deck with him. But apparently I am being told to for bravo as it's easier to build? Any help appreciated keep up the good content 🙌

If you buy a booster box, would the Blitz decks from that set just be redundant? Can you get all those Blitz deck heroes and other cards in the packs?
So, if I wanted to play Prism, I am not allowed to in blitz when she goes into Living Legends status? Or is that more for official events? I'm just a casual who is just getting into the game!
Living Legend only applies to the format that they hit LL in - so in Prism's case it will *only* be for Classic Constructed. You can play her in any other format! :D
Hi Red Zone! I'm yet to get into this game but I'd love to introduce it to my friends at our next magic night and my LGS has stuff from all the sets available, but I'm still left wondering a few questions that none of the videos I've found have helped with. Are Heroes from different sets cross compatible? Like, can If I've got an old set Hero, can my opponent be using like Fai or something? And if so, will the old player get totally left in the dust?
Yes! You can play any hero vs any hero so long as they haven't achieved Living Legend (its a way to retire heros that have won alot). No! Old heroes can be quite strong!

Can anyone recommend a good website for looking at decks? I'm new to the game, long time MTG player
So should I just buy a first edition booster box? I don't understand the best way to get started.. booster box or those blitz starter decks?
I'm thinking of getting tales of aria, three 1st edition booster boxes. Anyone have opinions on this?
Blitz decks are perfect for learning the game and trying out the respective heroes. After you find the heroes you like, then you can buy the booster boxes that support them. If you wanna just go head-first and have the money, then boxes are a good option. Tales of Aria is a great set and all 3 heroes are good, it just depends on if you like their playstyles or not :)

Yes! The FAB scene is great here. I personally go to Discs & Dice and Goin Gaming. There's also Mox Boarding House, Fabled Hobby and Portland Game Store!! I've personally met the owners of all of them (except Mox) and they're all great dudes 👍

The equipment is the only thing keeping my friends from playing this game. Any suggestions?
At the absolute most competitive levels you can't get around it. However there are budget options for many pieces as well as formats such as Commoner where you only use common cards. Keep in mind for FAB that it doesn't rotate and you only ever need 1 piece of any given equipment so it's something you can trade up to for the expensive ones
Or just let them proxy it till they are sucked in 😂

I'm not sure currently but they were in distribution earlier this year! It all depends on your LGS - I've seen a few at my own for free!

There's a few! Aggro is a popular archetype. I'd say Briar, Dash and Fai all immediately come to mind

Cheers! FAB is a great game with a lot of depth. It's run by a company that actually cares about it's players
I was always annoyed by banning cards (achieving living legends status as they call it in this game...). I got / bought a card and now I can't use it anymore because someone said it's too OP, or too many people are playing it etc...
Living Legend only happens when a hero wins so much that they get enough points. Straight up banning is separate from that 😅
So EVERY hero will then achieve Living Legend rank at some point, doesn't matter how good they are... What is the point then? @@RedZoneRogue
@Novica89 only the very best ones. So many heroes come out a year most will never hit LL - even in 10 years
Lol. Pick whatever hero you want…. Bacept that all the hero’s that are good are retired and can’t be bought or played.
That's not true, even the heroes that hit Living Legend can still be played in other formats - just not the one that they achieved LL in. Ex. Chane and Prism are LL in Classic Constructed but can still be played in Blitz
@@RedZoneRogue Don't know what that means. Came here specifically because I have never played a TCG before and WAS looking at FAB. I want to play Bravo... not for sale and a video said because you can't play as him anymore, I would like to play Oldhim, not for sale and cant be played anymore, etc etc. I'll try Lorcana instead.
