- Netravati Trek easy and also beautiful than any other trek near Bangalore which can also be done by first time trekkers. It was opened recently by Karnataka forest department. Netravati river originates in these hills and flows through Dharmasthala of Karnataka. At a height of 4900 feet Netravati peak located in Kudremukh National park of Chikmagalur, Karnataka. Local guide is compulsory for trekking. Netravati peak trek starts from base village Samse.

Some Trekking companies have websites, you can book there. Otherwise you can reach base village samse and hire local guide there

No own vehicle lo vellatam kudaradu... It's off-road route, so not suitable for normal vehicles & risky during monsoon. when we visited they didn't even allowed outside vehicles to cross samse village
